Catherine Kelly the actress who played Becky was on This Morning She said she would not be able to return to Corrie to film any scenes due to work commitments. It would have been lovely to have her return to be with Roy and Haley
I think when Sinead first came into Corrie she said something about making jewellery.I think her and Chesney are better suited together than Katie.

BlatantRedhead · 05/09/2013 18:44

Finally got the chance to sit down and watch Monday's episodes and am sitting here balling! Had to wait for a day when DP was working late, can't cry over a fictional character in front of him lol

BlatantRedhead · 05/09/2013 18:44

Oh the tears! Sad

ChocsAwayInMyGob · 07/09/2013 18:20

I was proper sobbing. What are you doing to us Corrie?

BadgersNadgers · 07/09/2013 21:24

Oh hell, I'm watching last night's with a couple glasses of wine and a huge lump in my throat.

forehead · 07/09/2013 21:54

I thought that the doctor was really convincing.
The bit part actors are usually wooden, but Ithe doctor played the part of an overworked NHS doctor to perfection

NuggetofPurestGreen · 07/09/2013 22:33

Was Corrie on last night badgers? I thought it was off cos of football (booooooo).

BadgersNadgers · 07/09/2013 23:41

Might have been from another day, dunno. Was where Royston broke the mug.

RubberBullets · 08/09/2013 15:53

Corrie is on again tonight at 7

KenDoddsDadsDog · 08/09/2013 16:51

I love a Sunday corrie

NuggetofPurestGreen · 08/09/2013 18:07

Thanks Rubber i'd have forgotten like I did last week.

KenDoddsDadsDog · 08/09/2013 19:21

Poor Roy Sad

Ladytron · 08/09/2013 19:25

Tonight. Karl says "wonder where my dad's cufflinks are..."
I expect they perished in the fire along with everything else. C'mon writers!

squoosh · 08/09/2013 19:27

Why would he leave a voicemail message on Craig's phone, as if the police won't check them. Hmm

squoosh · 08/09/2013 19:28

Ah so it's not a voicemail, but still they'll see he phoned him and that they had a conversation.

StephenFrySaidSo · 08/09/2013 19:47

is carl trying to work out how to kill craig? Shock

whatkungfuthat · 08/09/2013 20:10

Looks like it. Although its annoying that its taken so long it is a welcome distraction from the harrowing Hayley storyline.

StephenFrySaidSo · 08/09/2013 20:20

the Hayley storyline is being acted very very well imo. fiz is brilliant in her reactions. they just seem so spot on.

but yes it has taken ages to get to this point for craig and carl. there was just a horrible moment when you could almost see the cogs in carl's brain working overtime to see how he would get himself out of this situation.

eddiemairswife · 08/09/2013 20:33

Why do the Corrie children have such rubbish birthday parties? Today's was Max, Simon and toddler Liam and about 6 adults; and why are they always arranged at the last minute? Does anyone else think that Owen isn't being honest about Audrey's roof?

Aquelven · 08/09/2013 20:44

Yes, don't believe a word of it.
Why does no one say she should get a second opinion? But then anything that sensible would spoil an obvious story line.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 08/09/2013 22:26

eddie - because until they put a softplay in the back of the Rovers there is nowhere for children on the street apart from the Red Rec, Bessie St Primary and the invisible childminder's house.

Everyone over the age of 18 has their party in the pub, or if they are feeling posh, the bistro.

BadgersNadgers · 09/09/2013 12:15

Why did Maria invite herself and the dog to his party? Too bizarre.

I reckon Owen's pulling a fast one to pay for the surrogacy.

TensionWheelsCoolHeels · 09/09/2013 12:20

Pass the parcel between 3 kids has got to be a new low for even Corrie. They could have had a couple of adults pad it out a bit!

NuggetofPurestGreen · 09/09/2013 15:31

Aw that bit with Max was quite sweet when he said 'can I call you Daddy?"

The rest is dross though (except Hayley and Roy obviously)

alemci · 09/09/2013 15:36

or maybe a couple of extra dc's and Hope. it was a bit rubbish for Max.

also wouldn't the boys be rolling around the floor hyped up on all the sugar or running around not demurely sitting on the sofa.
