Thread for the naughty but not downright fiendish (les revenants website)

I thought I ought to start a thread for people wanting to discuss the content of the website, but who are still watching at C4 pace. I'm plodding my way through with google translate, so french speakers please bear with!

I'm nearly done translating Julie's dr's letter, just trying to figure out a bit google can't seem to translate properly. Will post it when done.

That's interesting--when I try to go to Serge's diary by the shack in the English version, he kills me and that didn't happen in the French one.

Perhaps it only lets us see the stuff that has been revealed to date in the UK showing of the TV series? WE might be seeing things we aren't supposed to know yet.

Yep, English site but no goodies to find as yet. We have, officially, been norty.
Or maybe they just haven't done the documents for the english version

You can go to the dam in the english one and you can't in the french one. Nothing happens though

Yep, English site has nuffink. Except scary Serge stabbed me.

Oh well, back to read the translations then. To be fair, none of it makes sense anyway.

I did get killed several times by Serge, but not on the way to finding his diary in the French version.

Every time I try in the English version, he tells me he's warned me and then I get killed before I can get to it in the ground to the right of the shack.

Well at least we know what Serge says before he kills you, "don't go any further" in the forest and "I warned you" before he kills you.

Polythene meant to say I agree washing in the lake is a baptism/washing away sins rather than drowning thing.

And maybe your ipad listened to Serge and is just too scared to let you continue?!

And yes serge did kill me but I assumed that was the end as by the time I had found his house I had been everywhere else iyswim

But I did go back and check and the bastard got me again

An English version???? Will look later. Well done. How did you find it?

No cheating and watching 5678 - other thread is prob quiet as only 3 or so very naughty people watched all episodes

Yes I saw the glass in the pub or diner

And thought blood in the tunnel

Also seems to be a book or something in the pub or diner on the table - I clicked it but wasn't showing as anything

When I went round again the things I had found medical report - letter - diary and newspaper all were there and said in French what they were - ie easier to see

The book in the diner is just a synopsis of the series. The kind of thing you'd read in a press release.
I just got killed by Serge - he hit me with a... SHOVEL!

All that stuff is very very spoilery!! Thats probably why its not on the UK site. It gives loads away, but it has actually helped me work out what I think is going on ... back to the naughty naughty thread!

the letter to julie says thomas has been in torment since the wedding day of his adele to another

maybe coz thomas killed simon?

I have to say that very little I have seen on the website has impacted on what I have seen on TV as at the end of episode 7. Supplementary, rather than explanatory, I'd say.
