As it says really - the old thread is nearly full, so here's a continuation for those of us watching on C4 on Sundays. Please, no spoilers - not even vague ones!

I found it weird that Victor would be placed in the hostel too. Are all the people there dead? Was Mrs Costa there? What does Pierre know about people returning?

Perhaps the other guy in the mask was Mr Costa.

Pierre is definitely collecting revenants. He know something. Just waiting for Camille to rock up there too now.

Adele def had some sort of breakdown after simon died, when he first reappeared she was all worried about "it" starting again. and tonight he said i only had them in for when you don't answer the phone, in case you've hurt yourself again. so it's either suicide attempt or some pretty serious self harm.
Damn it we had Lucy reaching the dead through bum hairs, nobody guessed the bonking psychic. What happens if the bloke "finishes early" does he not get a full reading? Can she only have blokes as customers? Well i suppose if she can't contact their love ones they can't really complain, at least they've had their jollies.
Were all the returned not very nice or have they turned nastier on coming back (although serge is probably quite similar).
Are there any guesses on who killed Victor? Pierre was the first bloke (either that or it was a very bad choice of words and sounds very similar), I'm going to guess Mr Costa for the second. I don't think it can be Thomas as it was 35 years ago.
Has the water gone from the reservoir into the power station and they were frantically trying to pump it out. Any guesses at what happened before?
There seems to an awful lot of CCTV in that town (apart from the one place where evryone seems to get sliced and scoffed.

Pierre said to Victor the exact words that one of the burglars used to try and calm him down (it didn't work and the other burglar shot him)

Maybe Pierre is also a revenant. If he was one of Victor's killers he could have died and come back since the murder. It would explain the age difference thing and also the fact that he's so ready and willing to believe in the other revenants.

and it was about four sentences so something quite hard to say coincidentally to someone.

Re Victor - the bedroom was set up with a nightlight for a child who was afraid of the dark, so surely that means it was Victor's house and Victor's bedroom at the start?

Also - do we think Mme Costa and Victor clocked each other as revenants at the hostel?

I noticed "sleep like a baby" too.

The doctor was planning to 'puncture' Lena's back in the morning! I think the more obvious translation would be 'biopsy'.

The revenants do seem to be angrier, hungrier and very... cold?

I don't mean physically cold, I mean emotionally

I was that a young child would be put into a mixed dormitory with adult strangers. The safeguarding procedures in that town seem to have gone the way of the goats. Although I think they look more like deer.

I'd say pierre is in his mid to late 50's, which would make him in his twenties when Victor got killed.
I also thought that Victor was not the son of the lady tucking him in but it didn't seem like a sleepover (you would let the kids sleep in the same room, the visiting child wouldn't ask to come in your bed, the other kids wouldn't know about nightmares, .....). I was thinking that he was maybe a newish foster kid or similar. which would explain his easily going off with strange people that he thinks will look after him (first julie then police woman) and not looking for his own family like the rest of them do.

They were chamois- a sort of mountain goat. They're bigger than goats with a brown body and a stripy face.
There were also another type of alpine goat thing. The one with the curly horns, I can't think of what they're called.

How do we know Mr Costa killed his wife???? I know he burned her when she returned but I completely missed the reference about her 'first' death.

Pierre didn't kill Victor, his partner-in-crime did!

In a return (geddit?) to the spade/shovel debacle, what is the difference between a spire and a steeple?

We don't know how mrs Costa died only that "she was taken from him too soon, hopefully they are happy together now" (priest at his funeral).

Spires are ornamental and steeples have bells?

Or spires are in cathedrals and steeples on churches?

According to steeplesandspires.com a spire is the top of a steeple.

So I think that makes me right technically
