As it says really - the old thread is nearly full, so here's a continuation for those of us watching on C4 on Sundays. Please, no spoilers - not even vague ones!

Yes why was Victor stood in the middle of the road he was the cause of the crash.But what struck me as very odd was Adele and Simons Wedding nobody was in the church apart from Adele and her Maid of Honour.

So many complex theories on this thread, it's fantastic! Really hope the ending lives up to all this.

I think both Julie and Lucy were already returned when they got attacked by Serge in the underpass. It was such a violent attack in both cases it would definitely be fatal but both survived it.

Mr Costa was definitely a wrong 'un

I think there's some sort of apocalypse acomin' - goats, floods, priests, it's all a bit biblical.

No theories whatsoever on Lena's yucky scar...

Finallly I've caught up with the thread!

There is something very dodgy about Pierre, I don't like him.

Can Simon be killed again? I didn't think you could shot Zombies.

And why does nobody seem particularly worried about the dead walking the streets? They are sort of taking it in their stride.

Does anyone else fancy jerome just a little bit? He's got such a lovely face.

Me but I was ridiculed when I said it on the last thread

So far, no-one who has returned has died from a disease or illness ... they all seem to have had voilent, sudden deaths ....?

This last episode made me feel really sad! I felt so sorry for... Well, pretty much everyone.
Poor Adele, poor Julie, poor Victor, poor Camille, Simon, Toni...!

I thought Julie said she loved the policewoman. That's why the policewoman replied "We'll if that's how you feel about it", meaning Julie sitting on the window ledge.
I thought it was a shame she didn't say she loved her back. :(

bluebazooka YY to wondering why no-one else is at Simon & Adele's wedding. The scene earlier in the bar shows how popular they are and the lead singer says something along the lines of 'if you want to hear more, see you at the wedding'.

angelos I know where were they all ? Suppose they were just going to the night do.As for the violent deaths i'd love to know how Mrs Costa died, and why was Victor around 4 years earlier near the Dam.
I think Pierre holds a massive secret apart from helping to wipe out a family thats why he's such a do gooder now.

Wonder if Serge has been back before ? you don't just go and murder your brother and stick him in a hole in the back garden .He wasn't that surprised to see him again or was he? and may be thats why Lucy and Julie's wounds have healed so well cos there not real.

The killings haven't gone that far back though - if Serge had been back a few more times then you would expect there to be a longer killing pattern.

I've got it !Costa was the cause of the first flood! Victors parents knew this so he killed them.Pierre worked with him at the time.The strong characters come back because yes they have been killed in violent circumstances and want to get back at the people who has done them in. I don't think Thomas actually killed Simon but he probably arranged it because yes he is obsessed with Adele because if he did he would have recognised him.What do you think bollocks? The Serge story god only knows.

The revenants eat an awful lot-do they have normal bodily functions I wonder? This is the sort of question I ponder on
Msblue I don't know-how could Costa be the cause of the flood though?

I don't really know think he might have worked at the Dam enclosure and had some reason to flood the village.To be honest a lot of things are not adding up and are very freaky, like the dead rabbit in Claire's bin and that dog at Toni's house. Again I'm hoping that the conclusion is good.

Also he must have had something to do with it why commit suicide at the Dam when he could have just over dosed on the tablets Julie was giving him for his illness.Just another mad theory.Someone suggested he had

I reckon Costas was a dam engineer and he was involved in the decision to flood the village.

He's had a busy life ... dam engineer, armed robber and headteacher for numerous years

Do we have proof mr costa was the other armed robber?

I keep thinking about the sandwich camille made in the last episode. It looked like really thin slices of raw meat to me. Probably wasn't but I still think their appetites have, erm,, changed somewhat since they've come back.

Or maybe that's why serge keeps trying to eat people! Maybe he was already a returnee and that's why he started killing. Honestly only just occurred to me, I realise there are lots of holes in this theory but it's fun to have a guess!

No it's just a theory probably rubbish but worth thinking about , when was he a head teacher I missed that.Was that shown in the first episode?
Still don't get the dirty water in the church, Lena's wound, the dead animals.
Lost the plot again but I don't care I'm loving it! Sunday nights won't be the same in 3 weeks.
Is it just me or does it make you chuttle when they say The Lake Pub.

I don't think there is any proof re Mr Costa, he just seems to be the only one old enough to have been around at that time which is what I based my guess on

Although he seemed such a sweet little old man its hard to imagine him as a cold hearted killer

Sorry, that made me sound like the only one who has guessed it might have been Mr Costa!

And yes, I always think it's funny when they say the lake pub
