As it says really - the old thread is nearly full, so here's a continuation for those of us watching on C4 on Sundays. Please, no spoilers - not even vague ones!

blondes good point about watching in real time. I may try that next week.

Also I don't think it was suicidal animals. I think they drowned when the dam originally broke and have been kept in a kind of stasis by the water. Not fully coming back but not decomposing either.

Loved the twist with Julie. But if she really was a returned wouldn't she be stuffing her face all the time like the rest of them? And which one said I love you? Was it Julie or the police lady?

Also can anyone tell me the very end? I only saw up to the bit where the nurse was changing Lucy's dressing then my recording stopped! Did I miss anything??????

oh was now, duh, i thought it was a flashback of thomas killing simon 10years ago

surely thomas must reliese you cant kill a ghost

and vet/coroner said animals hadnt been dead long 12hrs or so and that they were running/scared from someone/thing

Maybe Thomas is killing him for the second time. From what was said earlier in the episode perhaps Thomas is lying about the original death or is hiding something.

thomas said last week that simons death wasnt an accident and hinted at suicide

but as simon looked so puzzled today when daughter sid you chose to leave us, and she drew a gun in last weeks picture

that i think simon was shot by thomas 10years ago and then he wooed her, but he knows he cant compete with adeles love of a dead man and now hes alive and back that he kills him again - or tries to, as seems you cant kill the dead

and think julie is alive and she did fear fear at the window, she wasnt sure

plus her stomach didnt look that ripped apart and wasnt losing much bllod when toni put her on truck and took her to a&e

That I don't get and now he is dead he seems to have more of a conscience, why has he taken Lena and what does he want with her?

He is almost like a vampire and that was something I was thinking tonight as vampires are the undead right? Maybe its all going to go a bit Twilight on us Grin

Simon is ridiculously hot and even though he is dead I so would Grin

I think the animals were drowned when the dam was built and have been like that because there's something about the water.

I was wondering if everyone who's come back originally caused their own death e.g. Suicide or Camille causing the bus to crash. That wouldn't work if Thomas killed Simon though.

Why is Lucy getting better? Has it got anything to do with Julie? Or the fact that the murderer was actually dead himself?

I think Mrs Costa was alluding to the fact that "the returned" cannot die or be killed. She told Victor that no one could hurt them and I think she meant that the only way to find out if Julie was "returned" was to see if she could die. My theory anyway.

The Camille/Lena possible switch is blowing my mind. Cannot get my head around it! Who was frederic in an actual relationship with? Was he cheating on the day of the crash or did he think he was with his girlfriend, whoever that was?!

frederic thought he was with lena, but knew camille liked him and the twins had an agreement that lena wouldnt go near him as her twin fancied/liked him

I don't get what the girls are so obsessed about with that Frederic anyway, he looks a bit hopeless to me and compared to Simon isn't exactly oozing sex appeal!!!

Masked killer I think was conjured up by victor with his special revenant power? But that makes me wonder why he conjured up serge for Julie that time in her flats? If indeed it was him that did that.

Does anyone know how many episodes we have left?

Where has serge wandered off to?!!

"You can't leave; they won't allow it". I think Pierre was referring to the police. Simon is on bail / under investigation and isn't supposed to leave the town.

The masked killer was part of a shared flashback hallucination, like when Julie was attacked by an imaginary Serge in the lobby of her apartment building.

I have no idea who Lucy's bedside vigil guy is.
