I havent really watched it since it went over to channel 5 but now Emma Willis is presenting and I like her.

Anyone else giving it a go?

But Kaluki, thats another classic reaction - Hazel thinking people wont believe her, so she kept quiet..

AnneEyhtMeyer · 15/07/2013 23:13

Kaluki - she probably (wrongly) thinks she is to blame. I think BB should have shown the housemates the footage rather than letting them all think it was all part of the secrets and lies thing.

Onedev - yes, she did well. She must have been so grateful she was in a safe environment. Can you imagine what he would have been like if he hadn't had cameras on him?

AnneEyhtMeyer · 15/07/2013 23:14

Cross posts with Jelly.

Just watched his diary room rant - scary shit.

I wonder where they both slept after that?? Did they hug?

Just watching BBBOTS now. Will catch up with you lot shortly. Smile

Kaluki · 15/07/2013 23:18

I see that but surely she knows it was filmed and they will all see the truth eventually.

Good on her for standing up to him and not showing how scared she was. She must have been terrified.

Jellykat · 15/07/2013 23:20

I hope the housemates are enlightened sooner rather then later, otherwise Hazel will be very isolated, when she really needs support.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 15/07/2013 23:21

Sadly people often don't believe, Kaluki, despite being confronted with the facts. Even when I was in a hospital bed with broken bones some people I had considered friends still didn't believe that my ex had done this to me.

I also blamed myself, wondered what I had done to make him do it, and felt embarrassed and ashamed.

I am very sad to say that someone on my Facebook thinks they were 'playfighting' and that Hazel is a bitch and knew what she was doing. I really hope that view is in the tiny minority. Sad

I don't like Hazel at all, but I feel very sorry for her after that, you could see how uncomfortable she looked when she moved away to the chair when BB called Daley to the diary room. He is just disgusting and that was clear by his reaction to being told he had to leave the house.

midori1999 · 15/07/2013 23:23

have Bit On The Side mentioned anything about Daley's behaviour so far? I missed the start.

Jellykat · 15/07/2013 23:25

A tiny bit at the beginning midori, not much depth though, just a 'Daley broke the rules and BB acted accordingly' angle.

Maybe she is in shock.
I hope she is getting help - he should be done for assault. They ought to make an example of him. I just hate men like him, so nice and sweet on the surface but evil underneath! He reminded me so much of my ex it made me shake!!

AnneEyhtMeyer · 15/07/2013 23:28

They seem terrified of the story. Who cares about the Callum / Thingy / Dexter "love triangle"?

Now they are letting the violence apologists phone in. Hmm

ShaggingZumbaStylee · 15/07/2013 23:28

Ryland pissing me off!

Kaluki · 15/07/2013 23:29

Role play? Banter?
WTAF??????
Shock

ShaggingZumbaStylee · 15/07/2013 23:29

saying she was lying to Daley - no she was uncomfortable - why would she agrivate him more?

AnneEyhtMeyer · 15/07/2013 23:29

Rylan must be getting splinters in his arse.

Wholetthedogin · 15/07/2013 23:30

There seems to be a big elephant in the room on BBBOT. They are trying not to talk about Daley and Hazel.

O hear they are now on the call ins. Can't believe how many people are supporting Daley and saying that Hazel was asking for it. Shocking.

midori1999 · 15/07/2013 23:30

I agree they seem scared, I wonder if they are anticipating legal action. They allowed it to carry on for far longer than they should have done.

Jellykat · 15/07/2013 23:30

I really think that the whole situation was obvious to people with previous experience of those circumstances, i.e we recognize it, many others sadly won't..

AnneEyhtMeyer · 15/07/2013 23:30

Seriously, I have no idea why Channel 5 thought that they could let Rylan present this when there is such a sensitive subject. He is so out of his depth he is drowning.

ShaggingZumbaStylee · 15/07/2013 23:32

Sent complaint www.channel5.com/contact-us

And who else can I contact? Ofcom?

Ryland totally excusing it!

Wholetthedogin · 15/07/2013 23:32

I agree. It's too sensitive a subject for AJ and Rylan. Emma would have been much better, either that or having one of their psychologists talk about DV.

I guess they are scared of legal action either against Daley or the show.

midori1999 · 15/07/2013 23:32

I think it did start out as banter, but as far as Daley was concerned hazel was 'disrespectful' and when she wouldn't back down to his threats because she thought he was joking, he got even more aggressive.

And of course she was lying to him, she moved away from him and she was trying to placate him so he didn't react even more nastily. It must have been terrifying being in that room alone with him and those seconds it took him to leave for the diary room must have seemed like forever.
