I havent really watched it since it went over to channel 5 but now Emma Willis is presenting and I like her.

Anyone else giving it a go?

I think the thing there is that Dexter and his girlfriend had a chat before he went in and she gave him a 'pass' if there were any girls in there he liked. This says to me they weren't serious or in love and probably not been together that long? If his girlfriend says it's ok why would anyone get mad about it?

Daley on the other hand has a girlfriend (or ex now) who says they were 100% together, and very much in love. Also a little boy who must have looked on him as a father figure. Two very different situations.

I didn't know that whothe that makes sense the silly girl! I suppose the fact Charlie isn't what you call predatory either explains it.

I thought it was quite glaringly obvious... There's telling a girl she looks good without makeup and then there's telling a girl how you'd like to see her and what you expect bla bla bla... he was setting out rules for her. I didn't like it one bit.

Yes, she wouldn't give him his duvet, he slapped her bum. Still didn't give him his duvet, he said i'm getting mad/it gets scary when I get mad etc. She told him to fuck off/carry on/do your worst etc, he pinned her to the bed, clasped her neck and held her arms down...

I still can't stand Hazel though and she's going to get all the sympathy now. Although maybe I'll feel differently if/when they show the actual footage of what Daley actually did.

I really hope they show the actual footage because if they don't they will leave it open to victim-blaming, particularly as Hazel is not popular with the public. This really is a chance for Channel 4 to stand up for victims of domestic violence and dispel the cliches.
