Feck - ooooh, that sounds like a great story line and so plausible I shall have to tune in in about 20 years time to see that one come to fruition, at Xmas mind as its bound to come to a head under the mistletoe. Do you think Dev will still be prancing about in his mac? Maybe Emily will still be childminding? Will Gary have a proper moustache by then? Will St Ella still be wearing bodycon dresses? Will Leanne finally catch up with her old fashioned wardrobe? Will Rita still be in t'corner shop, a wizened old skeleton with a flame topped wig?????

I certainly wasn't mocking the actress who plays Izzy's disability either, not something I would EVER do. I also said I disliked Faye - that doesn't mean I am anti-children. I don't like Gary either and I'm certainly not anti-men.

Is anyone else really liking devs devcule poirot act? Like someone up thread said, so bad it's good.

Devcule is amazing. I'm waiting for him to shout, "a-ha!" or, "eureka!" once the truth is uncovered!

They seem to have abandoned the Dev storyline and the one about Faye. The Dev/Karl one needs to get sorted quick and all the Windyasses need to feck off, and take Tina with them. Bored now.

Karl won't get away with it but its just a question of how long it lasts- what happened to Craig knowing something??

Do feel sorry for Leanne and what is about to be exposed, not a huge fan of her but she never seems to have any luck!

Nick and Leanne weren't together at the time were they? I know it doesn't make a difference as he has lied, but it happened before they were married.

It happened on Nick and Leanne's (non) wedding day/ night. So technically they weren't together but he wasn't exactly in a position to be bopping his bro's girlfriend.

That was quite moving in the end, apart from Anna and Owen twatface. Do we reckon Craig is innocent?

Hmm don't think Craig has anything to do with the poltergeist, but Royston is definitely heading for some sort of breakdown.

Found the baby Jake stuff very moving, thankfully dh is out so he couldn't snigger at my few little tears whilst watching.

I have a heeeyuuuge crush on Tommy. Really hope he doesn't leave with Tina.

I feel for Leanne too.

Baby Jake is back with Izzy and Gary, then.

I wonder what Tina's departure storyline will be?

Where the jeff is Fuzz and Giant Hope? She is friends with Tina and Izzy.... I'm sure she will have her opinion either way about the baby situation?

And on the same subject... I do recall Katie being Izzy's sister.... a loyal sister who helped to bring to light what Creepy Gary tried to do with Tina. Now that Izzy is going through another trauma, Katie is nowhere to be seen! Is she too busy shagging Slimey Ryan to care anymore? Or did I miss an episode and the Windyasses and Armstrongs have dissowned her..... that would explain a hell of a lot

On a different subject, I may have just read a spoiler in the soap mag about something that may happen if I read it right .... can I share here or do you want to wait for the rivetting non storyline yourselves?

Been away, catching up....

eddiemairswife - re: Emily only spraining her ankle when she fell. Surely you know that Emily is unbreakable? I mean, Richard Hillman gave her one helluva whack on the head with a shovel and she survived.

I wondered at first if this was a bit of a filler storyline, but as we hadn't seen Emily for ages, I suspect not. Which makes me wonder if it is potentially leading somewhere or setting something up for the future? Whenever anyone else leaves a soap it is heralded with much publicity but as Eileen Derbyshire doesn't do publicity (good for her, fed up with all the younger ones turning up for opening of an envelope) we probably wouldn't hear about it until it happens. I think Granada would give Emily a happy send-off - going to live with Freda or Spider - if it comes to it.

Personally I hope she stays as long as she can. She's one of the few totally believable characters left that the writers haven't ruined by making them have personality transplants at some point.

I did wonder when I watched yesterday why they keep going on about Spider - is he coming back?

Oh I would love if Spider and Toyah came back, highly unlikely though considering Toyah always manages to miss the train when she is supposed to be coming up to see Leanne. Roy is definitely heading for a break down, which I suppose will lead to the storyline of Hayley leaving. I'm going to get bored very quickly with the David/Kylie/Nick/Leanne storyline, and how stupid is Gail to believe what David says to her, you would think she would have learned her lesson by now. Poor Craig, his face was so confused when Roy was shouting at him, Beth will not be happy with that at all.
