Didn't he hit his own glasses case?

(Btw way to go keeping those glasses safe in 15 years!)

DH and I are watching it for the laughs now. I do really enjoy it though, shite, but beautifully cooked!!

Ha, maybe he did, maybe he did. Obviously I am not paying attention nearly enough Grin

Lordy it's shite!

I'm watching this and quite enjoying it (not seen last noght's) but I agree it's no Walking Dead (glad to see so many of you on here :)) and the annoying sister is so annoying. Any chance she'll die soon?

You'll never guess the cunning plot twists...no sir!

Btw, I checked out youtube and have come to the conclusion that Billy Burke is a better singer than actor which is not difficult, I know

silly tash aside it's not bad

I am a sucker for lanky, dark haired, dark eyed men that rarely smile.

The telly shorthand for a dangerous person is when they cut bits of apple off with a knife and eat from the blade. Extra points if it?s a hunting knife and they use it to gut someone with straight afterwards.

ShipwreckedAndComatose · 12/05/2013 18:58

...and they cut towards themselves, risking slicing their own thumb off, rather than placing it safely on a plate first! All whilst staring at the hero and not watching the cutting.

You are right, well spotted! Grin

Dear god tonight's episode was dire.

Those tunnels were huge.... How the hell did they run out of air after 20 minutes? And if air was seeping in at that door they can't have run out of air. And if they were hallucinating from lack of air how were they tramping around for hours?

Those script writers need shooting!

I need to stop reading this thread - I love this programme!! I read this thread like "well yes, but.." And then "I hadn't quite thought of it like that" and now I'm like "OK I GET IT, IT'S FUCKING SHIT!" but I still can't wait for next Friday.

Oh, and Miles? I so would.

Report
TwllBach · 18/05/2013 00:00

I would also do Miles, but it's still shit, sorry Irrelevant Grin

Sebastian Monroe for me... He's an evil bastard but oh my god I so would Blush

I've not read all of this, as am currently a bit spaced out with mega period pains and codeine, but to poster talking about their clothes - it is a little far fetched that Charlie's jacket is Belstaff!! I do enjoy the programme tho, even though it's faults are plentiful. And I love the jacket!!

Report
ShipwreckedAndComatose · 18/05/2013 12:28

I so would do Miles too! Grin.. I love the way he handles his sword Wink

But I do love this show!! It's dire..(the oxygen thing was so lame!!) but it keeps calling me back each week.

Not seen last night';s yet but we're starting to give up on this I think. It's just not GOING anywhere. And they seem to have got their characters from the acting school of stereotypes - we both spent ages trying to work out why Charlie and Danny's mum was sleeping with the General (and apparently had a child with him) and eventually realised it was a completely DIFFERENT thin blonde in a red dress Hmm

StealthOfficialCrispTester · 18/05/2013 20:27

we've decided to watch last night's and if we enjoy it as uch as the previous, then it's curtains for revolution

ShipwreckedAndComatose · 18/05/2013 22:07

What did you think? Sold by the whole oxygen thing??

SummerRainIsADistantMemory · 18/05/2013 23:36

Does anyone else get creeped out by the way miles and Charlie look at each other?

They're playing and uncle and niece but keep staring lovingly into each others eyes Confused

Only good characters are Rachel and Monroe imo, great chemistry between them and at least they're believable

Report
TwllBach · 19/05/2013 06:50

I think that Miles is looking at Charlie, fantasising about killing her so he can go back to his nice quiet life Grin lord knows that's what I would be doing.

Report
TwllBach · 19/05/2013 06:53

The only decent one among them is Munroe IMO. I love the actor, he was amazing in ER and I saw an Australian horror film with him in and he was brilliant there too, even if the film itself was shite.

I wonder what it must be like to e a decent actor and come to the slow realisation that what you're doing is crap Grin but then I suppose I wouldn't be turning down the money..

We still didn't watch it!
Charlie does puppy dog eyes at everyone, and Miles does "oh piss off" eyes at everyone :o
Yes I think Munro is fantastic, and I also think the General is good - love the fact he's a sadistic killing machine but they flash back to show him as a normal middle aged insurance salesman

Report
TwllBach · 19/05/2013 07:21

Oh heck yes, there are a number of 'normal' men that I know who are just waiting for an apocalypse situation to release their inner psycho like the General Grin

The thing that most annoys me now is the way it is lit.

Everything is constantly bathed in a golden glow, and throughout every episode, the shadows are always quite long. I reckon they only ever do anything in the early morning or late afternoon. Not sure what they do for the rest of the day, as none of that has ever been shown.
