OK sorry to get back to Revolution but I have just watched the latest episode. Nora is locked up in a cellar and tortured for TWENTY ONE days and yet her hair is still clean (albeit a bit messy) and her white dress looks freshly laundered???

She was dirtier after a trip in a car under a blanket than she was after three weeks of torture!!!!

And when she got in the helicopter her face was completely back to normal. Where were the bruises? And the broken nose and jaw after the beating they gave her? Why was she not emaciated and cut?

Her torture reminds me a James Bond film where he was left to die - think die another day

And guess hair was being washed every time they dunked her in water pmsl

Last 2 episodes next Friday - back to back

Then after watching this drivel for 20hrs will it have an ending

Will the light be turned back on or do I need to force myself watch a 2nd series

Ok so we have two episodes to watch and then what? Where can they possible go with the story? It better not end on a cliff hanger, but I think it will that's the only way we will be reeled back in for season 2.

(I hate Charlie and I reckon the actor that played Danny should get money every time his name is mentioned... 'I'm doing this for Danny' 'no I'm doing this for Danny' 'But I really WANT to DO this for Danny' - oh fuck off you total gimps, he's dead....)

I may watch tonight just to see what crap they come up with for the finale. I've been watching it on an off - not sure why but once started can't seem to stop. Not helped by the complete lack of any decent telly on friday/saturday nights.

A question for those of you that have stuck with it. Am I right that Rachel and her colleagues turned the power off just so they could implant their ill children with something to keep them alive? or have i got that wrong?

No, the implants were early prototypes of the nanites that turned the power off. The project was supposed to be beneficial but the DoD took it over and wanted to utilise it in war but Randall Flynn did something and made the whole world go dark.

Nothing else. Oh yes, do we think Jason knows that his father is a psychopathic or not? And I thought the wife was supposed to be hiding in the woods somewhere and instead she appears to be living in a nice house. In Atlanta one hopes...

Because obviously all the power plants just jump back into life after 15 years and everyone still keeps all their shit plugged in in case they do Hmm

Rachel is a mega bitch. Monroe is demented but very sexy. Miles is a twat. Neville is a creepy bastard. And the makers of this show don't even understand the basic science my 6 year old does. That about sums up the whole season for me.

Yes it was sort of a cliffhanger but not an edge of the seat one.

Sky say it'll be back in the new year but I haven't heard anything about season 2 other than that really.

Ok that was hilarious. I laughed out loud every time someone mentioned 'doing this for Danny'. The end with the American President in Guantanamo Bay made me howl.

The science bit was utter shite, the way it was all explained was like they were explaining to a five year old, not MIT grads.

Oh it was so hilarious.

They actually explained the science bit? To me it was just nano machines blah blah blah. Is the consensus that the machines actually switched off the power on purpose so that the President could come back and eventually take over the world?
Except me must be a tad old 15 years down the line.

I have to say I can't wait for next season. I miss shitty TV. All I watch these days is serious crap.
I can't even rely on Revenge as it appears they have killed off Aidan.

In Stephen King's The Stand, which is my go-to manual on post-apocalyptic survival, the goodies go around homes in Boulder, Colorado, switching off all the electric appliances before turning on the power plant to prevent a power outage.

King reasons that people dying of the super-flu wouldn't switch things off before crawling into bed.

I think that was very wise. I mean, I had a bit to drink last night and I left the back door unlocked.

ive just wasted 20hrs of my life watching this piece of crap series and still dont understand it Hmm

ages ago when danny died his mum cut his arm and took something out - was this the implant?

obv nora died as had a great big bloody hole in body shame wasnt charlie

monroe is so damn cute - having real hots for him Blush

somehow missed the science explanation but even if watched it prob wouldnt have understood Grin

and all this crap about if they turned the power back on then the world may blow up-surely better to have light .....................

pmsl the way all appliances just started working, as all plugged in - bet the fan would have rusted - no one shouted or went fuck me Grin

what did randall switch on all seemed very complex - was he blowing up the world? Hmm and then killed hisself-why the fuck for?

Randall switched on a missile launcher to destroy both the Monroe republic and the Georgia federation so that the (now ancient and decrepit) President of the USA could come back.p

Monroe is the only reason to watch the show. He looks even better in the trailer to the second season.
