Have started a new thread as the old one won't accept my message. So I'll repost it here:

Fuzz has form for being beyond thick. Remember the whole stape thing? Her character is just incredibly stupid. You'd think she would learn her lesson. Running away 'on a fishing boat' with £200 is like a story from a 16th century novel.

Re the abduction I think they were wrong. Lots of mums keeps kids from fathers for all manner of selfish reasons and abduction is not the answer. However I do think ty was desperate. But why won't he just let the court decide ffs. He's got loads of evidence. I'm getting to the point in this story where I'm actually ready to punch him myself! In fact have felt a tiny bit sorry for k when they stole ruby. Surely the writers can't have intended for this to happen? God knows. Im away next week so hopefully I'll miss the stupid court stuff and be back for some proper corrie storylines.

I don;t understand - maybe I've missed it, but where are stella, eva 'glo' and carl living now???

They're living at Kevin's (ie the house next to the corner shop). He has (ha ha) moved out and is staying with Sally so Stella & Co have somewhere to live.

They are all in Kevin's house, Kevin having moved in with Sally to let them. Not sure about Karl, but Gloria and Eva are.

I detest Owen, he is a throughly nasty bit of work.

Tina's mum is another one where I'm not sure what happened to her. Quite a lot of the younger women seem to have been brought up by their dads (Tina, Izzie and Katy, Leanne)

There are so many characters I can't tolerate, I don't know why I watch . Maria, Marcus, Paul,Sean,Owen and entire family, glo, dev, silly Pratt from the factory who goes out with kirk, Tracy Barlow. They can all disappear and never return.

I'd add Gail and David to that list.

Whenever panto baddie Tracey Barlow is in a scene with her clunky, stagey scripts and gurning grins, I just walk away and do something else. She is a totally unrealistic character who ruins my suspension of disbelief.

whatkung, oh, right, got that wrong then, thought she had died, was imagining her being buried under a patio or something, or in one of Owen's previous yards.

Owen is a bit of a psychopath as far as Im concerned - very dark. I thought the mum died ??

He seemed to go through a phase where the front of his hair dipped in the middle of his forehead making him look like an owl. And the expressions he pulls.

Julie's fella reminds me of one of those guys who wears his socks in bed....ewwww

I love Steve too. Love his and Eileen's banter.

And yy to whatsherface turning into Cilla. But she seems a bit nicer than Cilla. Cilla had a cruel streak in her.

My hope for Julie and Brian is that she puts on weight and then after a few months is rushed to hospital with terrible pain and then a baby appears- it would be so brilliant .Not sure how her real life mat leave will be dealt with.

not sure what will happen during her mat leave - perhaps they will just refer to her randomly like they do with Kevin.

Brian had had a vasectomy. She had a phantom pregnancy and Brian thought she had been unfaithful (she didn't know he'd had the snip).

Ooh I forgot about fizz, she's definitely one to add to my long list of dreadful characters and she's a pretty poor actress as well.

Brian's being written out isn't he? So maybe they'll use the same storyline for both but Julie will come back. It'll have to be soon by the look of her.

Tracey Barlow is the most irritating followed close by the dreadful Gloria. I wish they'd get rid of these two permanently. I used to think Paul was quite a good character but he's becoming a real moaner now. Eillen deserved somebody decent. Brian and Julie are quite funny. But Roy's mum is the best!

ha ha Julie, thats what I meant, a lovely storyline because she can't have children, a miracle. With the recent storylines, it would be great to see a happy ending
