Have started a new thread as the old one won't accept my message. So I'll repost it here:

Fuzz has form for being beyond thick. Remember the whole stape thing? Her character is just incredibly stupid. You'd think she would learn her lesson. Running away 'on a fishing boat' with £200 is like a story from a 16th century novel.

Re the abduction I think they were wrong. Lots of mums keeps kids from fathers for all manner of selfish reasons and abduction is not the answer. However I do think ty was desperate. But why won't he just let the court decide ffs. He's got loads of evidence. I'm getting to the point in this story where I'm actually ready to punch him myself! In fact have felt a tiny bit sorry for k when they stole ruby. Surely the writers can't have intended for this to happen? God knows. Im away next week so hopefully I'll miss the stupid court stuff and be back for some proper corrie storylines.

I hope it's done and dusted with. I'm sick of it now.

Crutchlow35 · 29/03/2013 13:46

Monday I think.

Bakingnovice · 29/03/2013 19:31

Can someone pls tell me when it's over. I'm swerving the trial and fuzz and tyrones smug faces when he gets let off.

Crutchlow35 · 29/03/2013 20:01

Kirsty just confessed.

Chippychop · 29/03/2013 20:04

Bother out with DC missing it!

Chippychop · 29/03/2013 20:04

Who has she confessed to? The police?

Sleepyfergus · 29/03/2013 20:06

She walked into court with Ruby and said she was scared she was going to her hurt, and that she (Kirsty) was the monster, not Tyrone!!!!

LineRunner · 29/03/2013 20:08

And it's back on at 8.30!

Viviennemary · 29/03/2013 20:13

I thought it was very feeble and disappointing after all those months of build up. I wonder if it's because they had to redo all the court scenes.

LineRunner · 29/03/2013 20:17

Because of Kevin?

whatkungfuthat · 29/03/2013 20:19

Well I didn't expect THAT! So the Julie business was just a rubbish red herring?

LineRunner · 29/03/2013 20:27

I guess that it precipitated Kirsty rushing to court. Confused

Chippychop · 29/03/2013 20:32

Oh no I wanted the jury to say ty was innocent!

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 29/03/2013 20:34

What the Jeff [buconfused]

That was so, erm, weird.

I must say Julie is getting right on my wick with her over exaggerated
'twee-ness'

And my hand would break before I got tired of slapping Gloria. Smug blamey cow Hmm

LineRunner · 29/03/2013 20:43

Are people just allowed to wander into hospital rooms like that, shouting?

Chipstick10 · 29/03/2013 20:46

It's all ludicrous. I can't stand sue Johnstons character. The acting is awful, and what a shabby ending to the Tyrone storyline. It was too far fetched for words. It was like they were making it up as they went along.

LineRunner · 29/03/2013 20:52

I presume in the original scenes that Kevin had some kind of pivotal role.

Aspiemum2 · 29/03/2013 21:20

Ah Ffs, they dragged that on far too long and then royally screwed up the anti climax. Now we've the whole Karl crap to endure until they finally decide to end our torture.
Sunita should wake up, stab dev and they can both die so we don't have to put up with his endless wailing.

Just glad Fiz remembered Hope, poor lass - guess Emily must be watching her Confused

Sleepyfergus · 29/03/2013 21:33

I was a wee bit sorry for Kirsty at the very end there!

As an aside to tonight's drama, are we to presume they are going to have an alcohol addiction storyline starring our Ches? The whole Ryan/Katy thing never seemed right to me, and was very sudden and rushed, to set up this storyline? Or does anyone else have any ideas?

KenDoddsDadsDog · 29/03/2013 21:36

That was a pile of shite. Like a bad romcom.

Lighthousekeeping · 29/03/2013 22:11

What a load of rubbish that was.

I do love Roy's mother though.

Clawdy · 29/03/2013 23:08

Totally unbelievable...but Kirsty is an excellent actress.

Lighthousekeeping · 29/03/2013 23:21

She will have loads of other work out of it. She's brilliant.

On another note, will that vile Carl get caught out and how?

Viviennemary · 29/03/2013 23:42

I think the Kirsty actress should get a lot of work she's brilliant. But I wish they'd get rid of Gloria. Such a boring predictable unbelievable stereo type. Total ham even for a soap.

Gingerdodger · 30/03/2013 08:10

I actually quite liked the ending in that Kirsty had that insight into herself and was frightened by what she saw, I also felt quite sorry for her, someone with a traumatic past who probably hates herself deep down. I think up until then she had convinced herself that Tyrone deserved it due to having the affair, tricking her into marriage etc.

Or perhaps the scriptwriters just didn't know how to end it...

I do think she is a good actress so I am sure she will pop up all over the place.

Please don't drag out the Karl storyline though!

Is Gary about to get weird with Tina seeing her as his wife / property?
