Have started a new thread as the old one won't accept my message. So I'll repost it here:

Fuzz has form for being beyond thick. Remember the whole stape thing? Her character is just incredibly stupid. You'd think she would learn her lesson. Running away 'on a fishing boat' with £200 is like a story from a 16th century novel.

Re the abduction I think they were wrong. Lots of mums keeps kids from fathers for all manner of selfish reasons and abduction is not the answer. However I do think ty was desperate. But why won't he just let the court decide ffs. He's got loads of evidence. I'm getting to the point in this story where I'm actually ready to punch him myself! In fact have felt a tiny bit sorry for k when they stole ruby. Surely the writers can't have intended for this to happen? God knows. Im away next week so hopefully I'll miss the stupid court stuff and be back for some proper corrie storylines.

Ok, may have to eat my words a wee bit as Paul was quite irritating tonight.

But not as much as bloody Dev. Jeez, if I had him at my bedside, I wouldn't wake up either. God help Aldi 'n' Lidl (and the rest of us) if/when Sunita goes - cue lots if moping about and wailing in an OTT fashion for aaaasaggggeeeeeeesssss.

I call Paul trouser-smell fireman as he always looks sweaty and greasy and looks like he would have a sweaty bum, but that's just me. He is horrible to Eileen - he started a relationship without telling her he had a wife. He dumped the wife on her when he decided the home wasn't good enough. When the wife died he blamed her because she had stepped outside to calm down after getting the bejesus slapped out of her by the wife. Now he is being vile to everyone, especially poor Jason. He is a controlling arse.

at Aldi & Lidll. Yes me too fed up with the lot of them - would especially like to see the back of Dev, Sunita, Eva, Sophie, Gemma, Izzie and Katie. Sirely with all the wanabe actors around they must be able to drum up some that can act?

Oh I agree. The fireman is such a moaner. Why ishe angry at Eileen. Always moaning. Always angry. He was exactly the same when his wife died. Stomping around and being off with Eileen. Wish they'd give Eileen someone kind and funny like her.

I really want to like Paul, keep thinking he will be OK, because I like Eileen and she deserves a good man, but he really isn't very nice a lot of the time. He seems too young for her as well (immature and babyfaced).

Sort of opposite to Owen really, I want him to be bad enough that Anna will chuck him out permanently and concentrate on Faye.

I wonder where they will go with Owen? Will he be rehabilitated like most soap characters? Do we think Anna will end up with Tim?

I won't miss Sunita's over-pronunciation of those children's names. Is Carl going to pull the plug or something? You'd think they'd have given him a wipe in the hospital - he looked like a chimney sweep last night.

Because Jason's character is a bit dim but good looking, you tend not to think too much about the acting, but I think the actor's portraying his hurt and confusion really well at the mo. Felt so sorry for him last night. Sadly I predict Karl not getting found out till after splitting Stella and Jason up, then she'll be full of remorse but Jason - yet again- will be too hurt to take her back .

Eileen did have someone kind and funny once - John Thompson - but then they did some weird twist with his character and wrote him out. Presumably he hadnt wanted to be in it long term. Lloyd would suit Eileen - have they ever been an item?

I've thought about Lloyd and Eileen too, but think they would drive each other mad. The John Thompson character was a bit weird wasn't he, the party entertainer.

Agree that Jason is acting well at the moment, as he did when he found out about Maria and Marcus. I do think it is time he had some better luck with the women in his life, but his character only really seems to shine through when he is being hurt.

Oh, you're all making me remember I couldn't stand Paul for the first couple of months - and you're right; he hasn't changed and is a negative, blaming twunt. Approval revoked!

Also at Aldi 'n' Lidl and YY to Eileen & Lloyd! Come to think of it, Paul would be a better match for Jenna: they could be boring together while Lloyd & Eileen provide some much-needed cheer.

I thought Jason's acting was great last night, too. Wouldn't he be better off with Tina? They're both really nice, and so good-looking they only need one brain (Tina's) between them.

He's been with Tina already hasn't he? They bought the flat together. Can't remember why they split. Was that when she got together with Graeme? I lose track.

Yy to Karl's badly dyed hair, I thought that last night. I also can't bear mis-carriage of justice storylines, I'm just about managing to ignore Kirsty and Tyrone at the moment, please God don't let them drag the Jason/Karl thing on.

So did I, what. And I mixed up Jenna & Mandy. I hope it was clear I thought Paul & Mandy might make a pair, not that Jenna would turn straight for a moaning fireman twice her age

I was hoping to see the back of Sunita as she has become such a pain lately. But I felt really sad last night as it was quite well acted I thought. The whole storyline about blaming Jason for the fire is a bit irritating though and so much it's all been done a million times before. I was hoping Stella would be bowing out as she's another pain and her daughter is even worse. Eileen is a great character. I read ages ago she was leaving but I don't think that can be true.

The mother has got to 'fess up!
