Oh it is SAD is awful, go go go

Lollybrolly · 21/02/2013 09:18

What a lovely lad.

Horsemad · 21/02/2013 09:18

Checkingin... her son is so sweet.

DreamsTurnToGoldDust · 21/02/2013 09:19

I`m sure he made me cry, hes so lovely, he loves his mum

Salbertina · 21/02/2013 09:20

Dizzy, see where you're coming from but it is different. Overseas involves different systems/culture/lang often/work rights/cost of living/education etc etc . Lots to get used to.

DizzyHoneyBee · 21/02/2013 09:20

Yes, SAD and she wants to do more with her career than she can do here. They seem lovely. Hopefully she will end up in somewhere hot and sunny and not the south where they can get gloomy days like here.

susiedaisy · 21/02/2013 09:22

Yuk don't like all the brick walls inside too dark

Lollybrolly · 21/02/2013 09:23

No I dint like those brick walls.

Horsemad · 21/02/2013 09:24

What job does she do? Missed the very beginning.

DreamsTurnToGoldDust · 21/02/2013 09:25

I quite like the second flat/apartment, liked that lovely big balcony

MrsReiver · 21/02/2013 09:27

What a lovely wee chap she has.

SconeInSixtySeconds · 21/02/2013 09:27

Hmm. Remote areas.

DizzyHoneyBee · 21/02/2013 09:27

She's a trained occupational therapist but has been working as a mental health advocate.
Salbertina, yes, it is different. I was just thinking about the friendship side of things.

SomeBear · 21/02/2013 09:27

Morning! It's a low tut programme so far, has there been any mention of the son's father yet?m

Oodsigma · 21/02/2013 09:28

Quite liking these today.

susiedaisy · 21/02/2013 09:28

Gosh how much time do they want together there is only the two of them

Lollybrolly · 21/02/2013 09:28

I really want this to work out for this family.

MrsJREwing · 21/02/2013 09:29

So the Dad is allowing the move?

Good there are jobs in the north.

DreamsTurnToGoldDust · 21/02/2013 09:29

Not sure I`d want to go to the remote areas. I dont think hes a apart of the sons lives SomeBear

MrsReiver · 21/02/2013 09:29

What do you mean Susie?

OP posts:
Salbertina · 21/02/2013 09:29

Dizzy- yes friendship concern applies whatever, agree w you.

Both seem nice!

Lollybrolly · 21/02/2013 09:30

No mention of a Dad.

badguider · 21/02/2013 09:30

I remember this one - I liked them a lot and I thought SAD was finally a reasonable reason to need to leave the UK (rather than all this 'better lifestyle' nonsense).

SconeInSixtySeconds · 21/02/2013 09:31

Has she realised that they get cyclones that far north?

DizzyHoneyBee · 21/02/2013 09:32

Yes, I wondered about the Dad and the remote areas. I'd had thought she would be better with company.
