Horsemad · 22/02/2013 09:52

Lol susie

DreamsTurnToGoldDust · 22/02/2013 09:53

Lovely to build their own home, and I hope it stays good for them, but bloody hell he gets right up my nose.

dontwanttobefatandforty · 22/02/2013 09:53

such a natural walk

SomeBear · 22/02/2013 09:53

So you're not materialistic... but you have just spent a long time describing your house. I'd really hate to have a house with an echo, it's very good looking but no personality to it.
Why aren't they filmed together? It was dad and kids, dad at work, mum at home. Something isn't adding up here.

susiedaisy · 22/02/2013 09:53

Have to say they have done well and seem very family orientated

DreamsTurnToGoldDust · 22/02/2013 09:53

susie Grin

susiedaisy · 22/02/2013 09:54

Yes house is very echoey

DreamsTurnToGoldDust · 22/02/2013 09:55

dontwant, I just spat out my coffee, natural walk, ooo we are horrible Grin

BillOddiesBeard · 22/02/2013 09:56

I hate to say it but I really like this family.......they have really grabbed their dream and ran with it.
They have had set backs but appear to have worked together to overcome them.
She's got her new house and he has worked hard to provide it for her.
Loved the little uk / rain joke at the beginning of the recent update ......all in all I am satisfied that I am cheering for this family. i'm not looking forward to going back to the office next week but content that my last morning watching WDU has been a positive one with a family I liked!!!! although a tutting bonanza would have been acceptable too!!

Piffpaffpoff · 22/02/2013 09:56

Dad really likes his Fox tops, doesnt he?

dontwanttobefatandforty · 22/02/2013 09:56

lol I know, I doubt my walk would be overly natural with a camera crew in front of me! :D

Horsemad · 22/02/2013 09:57

She looks Aussie I think.

DreamsTurnToGoldDust · 22/02/2013 09:57

You see I just couldnt be married to a man who picked up an accent so quickly.

susiedaisy · 22/02/2013 09:57

Yeah he's annoying, but kudos to them they've got what they wanted

Piffpaffpoff · 22/02/2013 09:57

Do you think there is an equivalent Oz programme, Wanted Up Top?

Lollybrolly · 22/02/2013 09:57

Aww I am pleased for them really. Nice to get a more upto date update as well.

BettySuarez · 22/02/2013 09:57

They seem like a really lovely family. I wonder if she is a mumsnetter? Grin

susiedaisy · 22/02/2013 09:58

I like the look of this Shetland programme

sailorsgal · 22/02/2013 09:58

My cousin moved to OZ several years ago and though my aunt planned a trip had to cancel it as both her and her husband have had cancer. My cousin hasn't come home either.

DreamsTurnToGoldDust · 22/02/2013 09:59

No I am guenuinly pleased for them, just cant warm to him.

Horsemad · 22/02/2013 10:02

I'm just Googling the Shetland prog susie - looks good.

Piffpaffpoff · 22/02/2013 10:04

The Shetland prog looks v good, I love a Shetland accent. Only heard one in that trailer though Sad.

Horsemad · 22/02/2013 10:06

Agree about the accent Piffpaff - just gorgeous. Smile

MrsReiver · 22/02/2013 11:25

I have to admit to being someone who picks up accents really really quickly - think Joey Barton's French accent Grin - so I have some sympathy for him.
