Cheering on the family is becoming a habit!

He likes things with big sharp teeth! I like him

susiedaisy · 21/02/2013 09:33

There is only the two of them so surely on the weekends and evenings they can spend time chatting and enjoying their meals together etc, no one else in the house to distract from being together compared to a family like my brother for example who has four kids and loads of after school activities that means the kids are dropped here there and everywhere and parents stretched to share they're time with each child!

Passmethecrisps · 21/02/2013 09:34

Aw! Who has been hostile to th wee guy?

Hmm. Special lesson and lots of attention because of telly cameras are hardly a fair comparison for him though

DizzyHoneyBee · 21/02/2013 09:34

he's so tall compared to the others, I wonder if he is a year lower in school because of the different school years and when they start? He did say that th work was easier too.

Lollybrolly · 21/02/2013 09:34

Wonder how her depression will affect the medical and visa application?

MrsReiver · 21/02/2013 09:34

Yeah, that doesn't sound anything like my single mum friends' lives Susie.

They seem to spend a lot more time rushing around and desperate to spend time with their children because they don't have a partner to share the load with.

I like this family but they do seem very wrapped up in one another, the son may soon branch out and find his own social life as he gets older!

pigleychez · 21/02/2013 09:36

The little boy is very sweet and obviously adores his mum.

The only thing I dont like about this programme is the 'lifestyle' tryout. They go off and do something fantastic, touristy with probably alot more staff interaction etc than you would usually get if you weren't with a film crew.

Not what you would be doing everyday. Theres still the housework, odd jobs errands etc that need doing.

I know people who moved there and said the same.. you have ideas of being on the beach 24/7 but yes there are times for that but you still have daily life to get on with first.

susiedaisy · 21/02/2013 09:37

He's a good looking little chapSmile

expatinscotland · 21/02/2013 09:37

This boy is amazing! I hope she moves and this little boy is able to have more of his own life.

DizzyHoneyBee · 21/02/2013 09:37

Children to single parents do activities as well though, I know a fair few who do just the same things as children with two parents.

Horsemad · 21/02/2013 09:37

Aw, nice F&F messages.

Horsemad · 21/02/2013 09:38

Oh bless him Sad

Passmethecrisps · 21/02/2013 09:38

Lollybrolly · 21/02/2013 09:39

Lollybrolly · 21/02/2013 09:39
