Oh I really want to try Richard's pudding

Oodsigma · 21/03/2013 19:53

I'd like to see a Lenny Henry with the red nose plates

MsNobodyAgain · 21/03/2013 19:57

Let's face it, it's a one horse race tomorrow.

I haven't had chance to watch (and the pudding course is my least favourite every week)- going off the comments, and the rest of the week, it's got to be Richard who wins.

I hope Mary Ann washes before she meets the mighty Prue

BartletForTeamGB · 22/03/2013 14:03

Just watching the pudding course now. While Luke and his hair annoys me, he does have lovely clear skin for a 19 year old!

MsNobodyAgain · 22/03/2013 19:46

Mary Annes food is going down well but this brief business is stuffing them both up.

GeraldineAubergine · 22/03/2013 19:48

It's nice to see she tarted herself up and whisked a flannel over for the judges.

MsNobodyAgain · 22/03/2013 19:55

Richard has got a right cob on. Idiot.

OP posts:
Oodsigma · 22/03/2013 20:01

Thought it was interesting that they like her food despite the feedback being all about her presentation during the week.

Raahh · 22/03/2013 20:40

I missed this, due to the sink blocking/washing machine flooding my kitchen. it's karma, for being horrible about Mary-Ann all weekSad

Raahh · 22/03/2013 22:06

Caught up- mary ann was so upsetSad

Right result,I think.

Trifle · 22/03/2013 22:17

Why have a plate with Lenny Henry on it, I thought it was supposed to be about comic relief.

Wish they would stop the close ups of Mary Anne.

Bilbobagginstummy · 22/03/2013 23:50

Richard was so scared of being beaten by Mary Ann!

What a week! And not in a good way.

JustGiveMeFiveMinutes · 23/03/2013 12:09

I can't believe everyone has been horrible about Mary-Ann. I though she was terrific! The restaurant business is notoriously tough so to manage 40 years as a self-taught chef is a massive achievement. I also thought her food looked amazing and her lack of ego was utterly refreshing.

Really?

Idontknowhowtohelpher · 23/03/2013 14:32

I wasn't always keen on the appearance of Mary-Ann's food - and it certainly wasn't funny! - but what kept coming through from the judges was that it tasted very good indeed.

JustGiveMeFiveMinutes · 23/03/2013 14:37

I thought it wasn't radically different from what other chefs produce. It's interesting to read what people have said about her on here. It's a shame that an older woman with a brilliant career behind her has produced so many negative comments.

Bilbobagginstummy · 23/03/2013 17:05

He restaurant looks nice - but it's not the sort of food that Great British Menu "does", so she looked out of place.

Ruprekt · 24/03/2013 21:55

There is no way that I would have even tasted Marys food.

She looked dirty and unwashed!

Exactly- Coco- Northern Ireland Chris was male and young - but his scruffy, greasy appearance put me off the things he made.

So- is this week the semi-finals or something?
