I think the 9 from CRH was probably accurate.

I think 40 for that Charleston would have been a travesty - loads of fun but technically all over the shop- my ten paddle would have stayed under my desk too.

I'd stand up for Bruce for once in my life actually - his grumpy crowd control was meant to leave L&F space to do a goodbye dance, and if he hasn't then they wouldn't have been able to do the Dirty Dancing lift one last time .

I am going to miss it so much

I thought DVO show dance had too many lifts and whilst it may show loads of skill and talent I didnt enjoy watching it. Also do they choose their own costume for the show dance ?

Danis show dance wasnt really up to it and looked under rehearsed

I enjoyed Kimberleys dance it was good and I had wanted her to win but I dont know I thought maybe the Beyonce thing has been done before ? Cant quite put my finger on why it didnt do it for me.

Louis' dance was quite stunning and really surprised me. I havent been their biggest fans but last night I was happy to see them win , he actually seems like a lovely guy.

I am such a big fan of SCD but I did struggle to get into it as much this year and would never have predicted myself switching allegiance in the last few minutes !

Next series must surely see a new presenter, last night Bruce was actually rather unpleasant and super cringey. Yes he may be good for 80 but he isnt good for SCD anymore

DVO was so over marked by CRH are they friends in RL I loved their charleston the show dance was ok,
Dani bless her looked nervous and clumsy the show dance too many lifts and turns for her little legs she couldnt get a leg over In 1 of them I was so dissapointed (sp) in them last night

loved Kimberlys show dance it iwas brilliant and great fun I thought Bruno was gonna cumbust, I thought their own pick dance was alright ( i cant remember what it was )

wow Louis and Flavia who knew I didnt their salsa was amazing his bottom is hypnotic I just swooned and sighed,

the Show dance was amazing and beautiful I cried a wee bit it was just beautiful, ( i think this is why they won) and the charleston was fab

after seeing Louis and flavia doing their dances He just slipped under the radar for the first few weeks because he had no personality and they did shine last night ,

so what are we going to do now do we watch Dancing on ice ? been great joining in on these threads I watch on my own at home like billy no mates the dds dont watch it

OH i just read because of his ADHD he found it difficult to do the 'acting' for the performances well he has come along way and last night he looked like he was having a great time,

what a good result i wanted louis to win since the first time i saw him dance.

poor dani, but it was only fair really that denise was in the final 3 - was worried that people were going to vote for denise so much that she won. despite her not being popular.
guardian live blog really funny. mention of being able to see dani's fandango had me chuckling.
did not like kimberley's show dance tbh, was very Girls Aloud imo.
missed dvo's show dance and was on tenterhooks over louis' show dance so will ahve to rewatch. but loved his dirty dancing routine, you wiggle those hips!

he is a lovely young man and deserved to win for his journey. he did not have a head start in the dancing. unlike the others.

daft question though saying how does it compare to winning silver in the olympics, erm but he managed to give a good reply.

bruce was like that last year i remember.

Flavia's hair should win an award of it's own. No matter what happens, upside down in a wind tunnel, twirling round on someone's shoulders, all she has to do is shake her head and it all falls perfectly back into place! So beautifully trained.

They could also do with changing the judges. They got rid of Arlene because she is a mature woman, but look at the age of the male judges! Clearly the judging panel isn't set in stone, so let's ditch Craig or Bruno.

I think Louis deserved to win in the end, although I was a fan of Nimble Kimble too.

I think Tess needs to go if Brucie is going. She isn't great. That's not just her dress sense, which is atrocious.

Hmm the thing is Tess could be better if she wasnt teamed up with Bruce ? I like the Tess/Claudia combo but the BBC are too ? to allow two female presenters on such a golden goose of a show.

She is more annoying when by herself. Am not a fan. I used to quite like her but think they should start afresh.

I dont think tess is that great at presenting tbh she is very good at her job but there is something a bit robotic about her sometimes,

yes he did he nearly called security when 1 of the Mcfly boys ran on to Harry he looked terrified, , I think bruce is the professional they do the rehearsals for camera shots etc I am not sure Bruce can cope with impromptu celebrations, he should work for crowd control , I dont think the viewers mind people running on to congratulate the winners

i think you are being unfair to bruce, annoying yes, but he was there from the beginning, in fact he was the one who got the show going surely?

Brucie wasn't at fault for the other celebs/dancers 'rushing the stage' like a bunch of teenagers. 'Back off' was the most polite he could have been given they were about to roll the credits with no shots of F and L and no 'last dance'.

But it IS time for him to go, imo.

Why does Tess pull all those silly, gurning faces? Admittedly she holds it together well when Bruce gets carried away though. Still don't quite like her.

Love all the judges. Think Darcey has improved so much over the series. Craig is my favourite though.

I'm already having withdrawal symptoms. I was thinking about watching the Sunday show tonight and remembered there wouldn't be one.

My wish for strictly is that it becomes a bit less formulaic. Plus I would really like one of the older contestants to win, or at least get to the final. Plus get rid of Brucie, natch.
