Sparkling - Gloria and Gail hatched a plan to see if Lewis was genuine. Gloria pretended to Lewis that she was dying and had also won £12,000 at the bookies. She became friendly with him and then asked him to go away with her. He refused and told her how much he loved Audrey.

In the meantime Audrey had found out about the plan but Gloria and Gail persuaded her to go along with it (against her better judgment).

Gloria then went to tell Aud and Gail that Lewis was genuine. Lewis found out about the plan and was very upset when he realised that Aud was aware of it too. He has now left her .

Think that's it really. Hope it makes sense!!

Thanks ken that does make sense. my only other question is why is everyone a funny colour. Namely Gloria, Lewis and most of all Kev. And the Platt kid.

Lol! No idea Sparkling! But you're right. Gloria looks the most orange. Doesn't suit her at all.

And I have noticed that some of the acting isn't great.

Now there I have to disagree! Think Corrie is a superior soap opera . Also the script writing is fab - some great one-liners.

Well my favourite soap is Doctors so I probably shouldn't comment. Bit Tracey and Ryan (Kym Marsh's son?) need to go IMO.

I was hoping they'd kill Ryan off when he was on the motorway the other night - but no, they had to put Sophie in hospital instead. In fact, they don't even need to kill Ryan off, just get an actor that can, you know, act?!

The new Ryan Connor is painful. I understand that they sometimes need to change an actor, but why change the whole character?!

No you are right. That was a huge storyline a few years ago. I'm really surprised it hasn't been referred to since!
