What's happened to happy-go-lucky Tommy? Or at least he was when he first graced the cobbles. He and Tyrone had the potential to be a pair of comedians but now they are just trauma ridden miseries. The Tommy/Tina/baby stuff is boring the pants off me big time.

1. Yes! Lewis has got a bloody nerve being all offended after conning Audrey in the past! and it's so far fetched that he's just ended it despite knowing it was all Glo and Gail
2. Yes, Ryan is a whining puppy of no interest to anyone.
3. Yes- I've been saying for ages that Tommy just sucks the life out of every scene he is in. He has no redeeming features and is just a big bag of control freaky whingeing. he is not even remotely good looking.

Trouble is that Tommy had his fun spirit destroyed by his Dad Terry. His Dad has left him with a huge debt so I suppose it is only natural that he would be a bit depressed. Plus - he had that accident thanks to Kirsty. I can understand how he would be feeling down.

Ryan is a pain and thinks the world owes him something. Even now he isn't acting that bothered about Sophie. How long before he does something stupid again?

Agree the new Ryan can't act and is soooo different from the previous one character-wise it's ridiculous. And yes it always makes me laugh that the real son is now never mentioned. Sometimes the Corrie writers do treat us as if we are totally stupid and amnesiac

I thought that Lewis split with Audrey due to not being involved but the fact she felt relief that he didn't go off with Gloria - instead of trusting him and knowing that he wouldn't go off with someone else.

TBH I think she should have lied and said oh Lewis I felt that I had known all along that you wouldn't go off

OP- I know Tommy hasn't had much luck, but they could at least give him a joke to crack every six episodes or something!

ivykaty- But Lewis should be fighting to earn her trust and he DID lie about going to the dog races with Glo. He made up some story about a friend who had a break up and needed him. He also lied about the dog track programme and said someone had left it lying around. He should be grovelling to Audrey, not dumping her!

Totally agree that Lewis should be grovelling to Aud. He has told far too many lies! Definitely think he is planning something to get revenge on Gail. That was a very sly little grin if ever I saw one!

Youold - Still don't think that Tommy should be cracking jokes just yet. Poor love - he's had an awful time of it with his Dad rejecting him for a second time, and then getting him into debt, falling out with his best mate, breaking his ankle, losing both his jobs and his girlfriend having to become a surrogate mother. What's to joke about?! Wouldn't be surprised if he actually has a nervous breakdown.

Lighthouse - yes Mary is now working for Nick because he saw how amazing her theme nights were and he recognised a good business opportunity!

YouOld - I know what you mean though - there are certain characters I just can't take to no matter how stressful their lives!! Carla was like that for me - I know she had some pretty dreadful things happen but I just couldn't stand the woman!

Tommy and Tina....sigh.....two young and beautiful (??) people fall in love after pussyfooting around each other for months - first date is happy enough then BANG...one pit of misery, misfortune and despair after another. For crying out loud let them win on the lottery and do one to Tenereefi (as Bet would say). I can't stand the thought of Tommy's long face for potentially 9 months.
