Welcome again to another thread that worships the daytime soap 'Doctors'.

Feel free to join in, jump in and ask about any abbreviations.

Orderly queues are needed for those that want to:

• slap Cherry (it's a long queue. No pushing at the back please)
• help Jimmi out with his wire brush and Dettol routine
• shag befriend Kevin, Howard or Daniel (one queue for each man and no swapping)
• bet on which wig Mrs T will be wearing each day

I can read a spoiler 5 minutes before the episode in question and I still don't know what is going on.

Just read the spoilers - how can I not having caught up with the thread - and was wondering who the hell Franklyn was but I think I have twigged that it is Jimmi's friend? If it isn't I have no idea.

I am shocked that I am supposed to like Mrs T. Will I get thrown off the thread if I admit I don't.

I still haven't got over her on that discrimination course being the most santimonious person there but still thinking she was open minded and lovely.

And I thought she was a bit of cow for joining the cooking competition when she knew Karen was doing it to ease a bad case of 'the empty nest syndrome' (even though her children hadn't even left home admittedly but that is just a detail). I should be more generous I suppose given that Karen's own husband took over anyway but still, nobody said I had to be rational about it did they? This is a Doctors' thread after all.

Oh and I think we call TBFE, TBFE because he died a sad and grisely death far too young on Emerdale and he was a Nice Bloke and everybody, even horrible Kim, was heartbroken.

Didn't he just leave Casualty? Did he go off with somebody into the sunset? Clearly not very memorable.

Mrs T is not every ones cup of tea and i don't like her sanctimonious side, but she is a good actress I think - a rarity in Doctors.

We don't throw anyone off this thread because we are desperate

Plus we know you will come round to our way of thinking, Bertha. You will soon warm to Mrs T.

Also, to put your mind at rest, there are no rational SDTPs. The two states are incompatible.

I've just remembered, didn't that Martin bloke (scriptwriter for Doctors) say he had an episode being screened in November? I'll have to start watching for his name.

It's being screened in December apparently.

Who was it that knew martin? Get him to come back in case it's a wtf episode

As irrational as we may appear, I take heart from the fact that we are never going to be irrational as DH who used to record Eldorado. Admittedly in the vain hope it might eventually live up to the big billing and publicity drive the BBC gave it but tbh, he recorded (and watched it) long after it was a lost cause and a laughing stock. He was possibily the only person on the planet who mourned its passing. poor deluded fool. He is very lucky I married him.

We are never going to be that irrational.
