Welcome again to another thread that worships the daytime soap 'Doctors'.

Feel free to join in, jump in and ask about any abbreviations.

Orderly queues are needed for those that want to:

• slap Cherry (it's a long queue. No pushing at the back please)
• help Jimmi out with his wire brush and Dettol routine
• shag befriend Kevin, Howard or Daniel (one queue for each man and no swapping)
• bet on which wig Mrs T will be wearing each day

Sorry I know I'm not meant to understand doctors but... When she said what about Chris being the nurse Howard said what your son Chris? But he introduced himself like he had never met Chris. So how did he know about Chris being a nurse. I'm confused as ever must try harder at not trying to understand it..

Well they definitely worked together at the PCT, that much we've gleaned from various conversations, so I guess that he would know a certain amount about her home and family life from that, although I definitely think there is a deeper history between the two.

I am still wondering how Jimmi ended up marrying Cherry in the first place. I have a big black hole in my Doctors viewing between Jimmi wondering how he was going to sell his house without his policewoman OH's signature when Cherry was angling to buy a place with him and them actually buying a house and getting married. Did Cherry find out about the witness protection/undercover cop stuff?

Off to watch Friday's episode.

Cherry did find out about the witness protection thing when the bloke who was the one Eva was out to trap got into Jimmi's house and held her hostage in an attempt to get Jimmi to reveal where Eva was. Cherry got very angry that Jimmi lied to her, but in the end Jimmi chose Cherry over Eva. Fool.

Same here Biscuit - my MN habit is secret from RL and I did consider namechanging for this thread. The Jimmi chosing Cherry over Eva bit was when Gave up in disgust last time.

You see, each day this thread gains pace and more and more Doctors fans are coming out of the woodwork. I too don't tell anyone else about Doctors or Mumsnet. Glad you are going to watch Fridays episode.

He does! A little village farm shop, and sometimes he has a barbecue on the forecourt and sells hot dogs and burgers from it! I know it sounds made up now, but i promise it's not! He is always to be seen there in his wellies and gilet. He seems a most pleasant chap.

Many thanks BiscuitNibbler. I feel a weight lifted from my shoulders that that bit of the story line has been explained. I couldn't see how they could move forward without Cherry finding out.

Does anybody else remember Jimmi arriving at the Mill? He was portrayed as a bit of a gigolo back then with his older woman he married for money. Not sure that Jimmi bears much resemblance to current one.

Have to agree with you MrsNobodyAgain about the pants on the head - he'd need another personality transplant to put dirty pants on his head. It makes me wince and I don't have OCD.

SparklingBrook - yes, thank you I did watch Friday's episode. Cherry got off very lightly imo but so long as she does go to New Zealand and not come back I can find it in my heart to forgive her. I'm very gracious like that.
