Welcome again to another thread that worships the daytime soap 'Doctors'.

Feel free to join in, jump in and ask about any abbreviations.

Orderly queues are needed for those that want to:

• slap Cherry (it's a long queue. No pushing at the back please)
• help Jimmi out with his wire brush and Dettol routine
• shag befriend Kevin, Howard or Daniel (one queue for each man and no swapping)
• bet on which wig Mrs T will be wearing each day

Meant to say yesterday, I liked the fact that Mr & Mrs Boring sat down to watch Holby after their dinner! I have to say, though, that no way would OCD Jimmi sit on the sofa to eat.

SDTP -sad Doctors thread participators, because that is what we are. And proud.
WTF?!- what the fuck- the usual exclamation of an SDTP, after an episode. Plots must not make sense.
BAH- boring as hell. An episode that fails to meet WTF standards.
TBFE- Practice manager Howard-a.k.a 'the bloke from Emmerdale'
Gobby- Karen the receptionist. Because she is.
Gobbyplod- Husband of Karen, Rob. Also know as 'The Only plod in the Village'
Princess Bubblegum- Cherry, annoying practice nurse, erstwhile perma-chirpy wife of Dr Jimmi. Latterly, miserable caaaahh after liason with fellow doctor, Daniel (see 'merlot o'clock')
Chimmi- Cherry and Jimmi
Chaniel- Cherry and Daniel
Red trousers of luuuurve- Dr Kevin's pulling pants.
6tl- new locum, no named due to the fact she has been a different character 5 times before. This is 'sixth time lucky'
Merlot o'clock- the act of shagging best friend of husband, after boozing in the afternoon.
Beanbags- now redundant seating of choice, now Elaine the lentil weavery doctor has left. She of the 'necklaces of doom'. New seating arrangements tbc. Kevin's lap a possibility.
Jizz- annoying new moany doctor. So named after she took to sex chat line work to supplement income. All her clients very speedy in the finishing department.
Mrs T- mrs Tembe, wig wearing receptionist. Judgemental Christian. Hopes of a Hestembe relationship diminshing-see Dr Heston
Dr Heston- unlucky in love bow tie wearing doctor, unaware of Mrs T's affections.
Juuuuuuuliaaa- previous practice manager, Heston still lives in her house. She lives in Wales with MtM.
Forehead- Lesbian practice nurse mandy. Annoying. Her girlfriend is dead. we are not allowed to forget.

I have probably forgotten someone.

Things are getting more and more tense in the Cakes household as Doctors o'clock approaches. Baby Cakes refused to fall asleep in the car or during his milk feed after lunch (despite a very very tiring morning at toddler group), so I'm trying the risky, unproven and previously rubbish technique of bunging him in his cot and hoping he conks out. So far there have been some highly amusing squeaky noises as he shouts at his toys, but no sleep. Will he crack before 1.45 our will I have to rescue him...?

Makes- dd2, previously the 'good' one has embraced the terrible 2's with gusto, and naps once every 3 days, (if I'm lucky). Today is a good day. Yesterday I got 'mummmymummymummyMUMMMYmummy' for half an hour [sigh].
