Thankyou VivarInaTutu good plan Smile

Re Lori and Rick - I think we're supposed to think that Shane has done more damage dead than he ever could do when he was alive. Rick has had to kill his closest and best friend in the world, and it was basically all because of Lori and I also think Lori probably feels guilty about that too so its eating away at their relationship. That's my take on it anyway.

NoHank · 21/10/2012 18:58

Yes, that's probably a good explanation wintera I can imagine it has been eating away at Rick since killing Shane. I think Lori passed off the whole Shane thing as the grieving widow falling into the arms of her rescuer and that it didn't really mean anything now that Rick was back. But Shanes version was that it was much more than that, they were in love, and Rick is maybe now wondering if Shane was telling him the truth

But still, what about Carl??? Why the mother hatred???

Merrin · 21/10/2012 19:25

That does make sense. Carl idolises is father and wants to be just like him, maybe that is part of the reason for his behaviour. He would also ave heard what Shane said.

cornybeefhashtag · 21/10/2012 20:48

what did shane say?

NellyBluth · 21/10/2012 21:46

Does no one else fancy Rick? Blush

susiedaisy · 21/10/2012 21:58

Fancy no but admire and would want to stick to like glue yesSmile

wintera · 21/10/2012 22:08

Aww yes I do, have always had a soft spot for Andrew Lincoln since This Life though.

PfftTheMagicDraco · 21/10/2012 22:09

Well, I would say that season 3 has been showing how terrible Shane was in terms of the group dynamic. They are more organised and useful now.

Lori could still die though. I hope...

pumpkinsweetie · 21/10/2012 22:18

Oh no hope hershaw isn't going to die, i really like his characterSad

SHRIIIEEEKPoolingBearBlood · 21/10/2012 22:28

Woo hoo seen it now, getting on this to catch up

wintera · 21/10/2012 23:21

It will be interesting to see how Andrea interacts with the group when she meets up with them again. They are very much changed now and she will have missed all the bonding etc that's taken place in her absence.

wintera · 21/10/2012 23:22

Plus of course she will find out that Rick has killed Shane, which might not go down too well with her either!

Nightwish · 22/10/2012 09:31

I wan to watch Episode 2 now but have to wait til DP is home from work and DS is in bed.
I think they have the best cliffhangers at the end of each episode in any series I have seen.

SHRIIIEEEKPoolingBearBlood · 22/10/2012 09:39

Didn't andrea get separated right at the end of the last series? She knew abt Shane didn't she?
Is the woman with her the person who was in the hooded gown?
Merrin did you ask your questions?

Fairyjen · 22/10/2012 09:58

In the comics Carl is a much harder character than is portrayed in the show, things are going to get very grim for him in this series and I think they toughening him up ready for this. He had no idea about the affair and loved Shane. He heard Shane talking about how he and lori loved each other and the baby etc. also he saw shane and rick try and kill each other.

The woman with Andrea is the hooded figure from series two, she is a major character in comics and is set to be big in the show.

Depending on how show follows comic things are going to be very dark for both lori and Carl.....

NoHank · 22/10/2012 10:27

I luff Rick, and yes I always remember him as Egg (who never should have ended up with Milly.....)

But anyway - Andrea doesn't know about Shane. She was separated from the rest of the group before they met back up again with Rick and Carl who were on there way back from killing Shane when the walkers overran the farm. The rest of them didn't find out about Shane until they met up with Rick back at the highway by which time everyone presumed Andrea was zombie fodder.

NellyBluth · 22/10/2012 11:17

The end of s2 was a bit of a "hell, yeah" moment for me when Rick finally put his foot down and decided that he was boss.

fairyjen, I might be in a minority here but those are a wee bit like spoilers - might not have seemed like it when you wrote them but if you haven't read the comics then they are, iyswim?

Fairyjen · 22/10/2012 11:44

Sorry!!!!!

Elsqueak · 22/10/2012 13:10

I too luffs Rick...sigh. He's a good egg..sorry for pun!
He genuinely cares about the group and their survival and damn it, he rocks sweaty, southern stubble.

LittleAbruzzenBear · 22/10/2012 13:15

Eerie I like Glen too, but Daryl would be the guy to have on side. He is tough as...

Beyond didn't a face fall off one of the zombies that Rick killed. Delightfully gruesome. Grin

BeyondLimitsOfTheLivingDead · 22/10/2012 16:01

Yep, when he took the riot helmet off, it came off in the helmet Grin

I have #2 here ready to watch, just waiting for a bit of free time......

VolumeOfACone · 22/10/2012 16:29

The Joop advert I have listened to a hundred times. I still can't understand what the man is supposed to be saying. It sounds like "Dad feels so gay". That doesn't really make sense.

Anyway, good first episode!

Elsqueak · 22/10/2012 16:51

Yes, what on earth does he say? DH thought that was what he said too but I really couldn't follow it.
Does anyone actually buy/wear Joop? It's been around for years and I've never known anyone like it.

BeyondLimitsOfTheLivingDead · 22/10/2012 16:56

#2 was another good one.... Grin
No adverts either Wink

(My first boyfriend used to practically bathe in joop)
