Just watched it with popcorn and chocolate éclair.
After all I read I was expecting more gore. Definitely an eeeeugh moment though.

Yes but with the heat and the humidity in that part of the world a few weeks is definitely enough for bones to be showing. Maybe the virus keep the bodies from decaying?

Regarding the Lori hate, I actually feel just a little sorry for Lori after watching the first episode.

Oh yeah!

I didn't hate Lori at first and even defended her a couple of times. It was Andrea I hated. Then towards the end of season two I was thinking 'yeah, everyone else is right, she is really annoying'. And even Andrea started to redeem herself! Can't wait for first ep!

How have people seen the first one? Have I missed it?

They're all still wearing the same clothes, so yes, Darryl is wearing a vest.

(In fact surely the should all be wearing long sleeves to avoid zombie scratches. It appears they've given up on that- specially Maggie and Glen if people know what I mean. Don't worry it's not a spoiler)

Helmet bit was vile but wasn't the only one.

Darryl's brother Merle you mean? Yes he will definitely turn up as he is in the trailer for season three.

Yes re govenor some stuff will change as characters are in show and not in novels and vice versa but yes is looking good.

Merle and daryl weren't in the comics were they? We're on about issue 12, unless they turn up after then.
