AnEerieAirOfHorror · 20/10/2012 19:49

How did i miss Darrly is a v?

I have a new girl crush and now i want a sword :)

FateLovesTheFearless · 20/10/2012 19:59

Step away from daryl, he is all mine.

I came across the walking dead on Netflix last week and watched both series in a week. Couldn't wait for series 3, am hooked already.

I actually don't mind lori. Wasn't her fault she shacked up with Shaun. He was a cock anyways!

Nightwish · 20/10/2012 20:00

Are you sure Darryl is actually a virgin?

From an interview Norman Reedus did he said he acted him as though he was, but doesn't say he necessarily is.

Interview

cynister · 20/10/2012 20:01

I miss Shane! I would have shown him my knickers..

Fairyjen · 20/10/2012 20:54

I have official claim over daryl he is mine! All mine!

susiedaisy · 20/10/2012 21:01

Shane was entertaining to watch, but he would of clashed with the new prisoners something terrible, i think there's going to be a lot of testosterone in this series, am wondering how the women will fare!

wintera · 20/10/2012 21:18

I think I've seen two television interviews with Norman Reedus were he said in his mind, Darryl would definitely be a virgin and that's the way he plays him. He's worked out a back story for Darryl so I am assuming the producers etc are fine with this too. So if Norman reckons he's a virgin, I'm not gonna question it!

wintera · 20/10/2012 21:23

Shane was a prick, I'm glad he's dead to be honest. Much better dynamic last night with him gone. And I liked how Darryl is now second in command so to speak. Will make for an interesting development when Merle returns as I doubt he will be happy that Darryl is loyal to Rick now.

susiedaisy · 20/10/2012 21:41

I wonder if Merle will be loyal to his group if he is part of one and so daryl and him find themselves on opposite teams!

Elsqueak · 21/10/2012 09:02

Caught this last night and loved it. Nice to have a bit of pace back & zombie bashing action!
YYY to riot mask....holy moly, I felt a bit queasy!
Love Daryl. Actually I have a silly girly crush on Rick...ahem...men in uniform and all that! Plus he reminds me of my DH so can't help it!

atacareercrossroads · 21/10/2012 09:19

Gah been waiting a fecking year and can't believe I've missed it.

If one wanted to ensure they didn't click on a website that has it online what sites should I avoid?

TwllBach · 21/10/2012 09:42

It's repeated today on FX if you want to avoid doing it online Smile

susiedaisy · 21/10/2012 09:51

Yep fx will repeat it a various times throughout the week

AnEerieAirOfHorror · 21/10/2012 09:56

its also on demand.

NoHank · 21/10/2012 10:48

Only managed to watch it last night and bloody loved it. I felt tense and exhausted just watching them. You really got the impression they were knackered and had been running constantly since the last time we saw them. It might be just me but I also thought it looked like the walkers were following them. Just the way T dog said something like here they come again when looking out of the window in the house we saw them in at the beginning.

It was also good to see the women doing more than hanging out the washing. Loved how Maggie was always up front fighting with the rest of the men and the reference to Carol being a good shot - she has obviously had lots of practice and seemed to be a much stronger character.

I'm also confused though about the Lori hatred. I know we all want to slap her with a wet fish but I don't get why Carl has turned on her or Rick. Last we saw I thought things were ok between them. I think she had a fair point about the baby too. I'd be terrified aswell of it chomping its way out from the inside!

Roll on Friday nights

Elsqueak · 21/10/2012 11:41

Oo yes. That whole conversation about baby eating through her was scary! What a thought!
Have to say, the thought of giving birth and trying to raise a crying baby in the WD universe is frightening. No sneaking past the walkers with a newborn!

Merrin · 21/10/2012 11:49

So, how come Rick now hates Lori? What has changed?

cornybeefhashtag · 21/10/2012 11:52

I think they resent Lori because she's a burden and takes more than she gives back as she is pg. And it's probably not Rick's baby.

susiedaisy · 21/10/2012 12:56

I think she played one off against the other in the last series and got rick all riled up about Shane and Shane turned against rick and then that lead to the incident in the woods where rick ended up killing Shane which he was gutted about obviously and not knowing who the father is hasn't helped matters, although in loris defence she and Shane both grieved for rick believing him to be dead, before having a physical relationship so I don't blame her for that!

Realises I'm taking this way too seriously

God it's a slow weekend in this house!Grin

NoHank · 21/10/2012 13:15

Yes I thought of that, but Rick wouldn't have known about what Lori said to Shane would he? Unless he figured a few things out after what Shane was saying to him in the lead up to him killing him? I'm guessing he has probably been mulling things over in the last few months because at first he seemed happy enough to raise the child as his regardless and even seemed to forgive her for the affair?

But I still don't get Carl. I can't see why he would suddenly start hating her just because she is pregnant. I would imagine he would just think it is his dads. No reason for him to think otherwise?

And yes, don't send your medically trained person into battle with zombies, pregnant lady or not!

Merrin · 21/10/2012 16:42

I think I must have missed something, too much wine while watching perhaps? They were a team, Rick and Lori, making a go of it despite everything, now he can barely look at her. Why?

pumpkinsweetie · 21/10/2012 16:47

Bum cheeks, i bloody missed it!
Do any of you lovely mnetters know when or of it will be repeated?Wink

ThatVikRinA22 · 21/10/2012 17:25

its repeated a couple of times but if you have sky you can watch it on sky anytime - with no adverts! thats how we watched it as we also forgot it was on.....

it started with a bang not a whimper! zombies galore!
