I am beside myself with excitement. here - who's putting the contacts in? Is that Carrie in a disguise? Any one else agog?

Wowsers. But hard to follow, so dark.

difficultpickle · 16/12/2012 21:49

Now Estes can kill Brody.

HazeltheMcWitch · 16/12/2012 21:50

It's a go? Handle it?

???

difficultpickle · 16/12/2012 21:51

Hazel didn't you know there is a rule in tv shows that dramatic running around must always be done in the dark Xmas Grin

difficultpickle · 16/12/2012 21:52

Handle it = killing Brody. Probably a car crash or similar.

gypsyfloss · 16/12/2012 21:58

So Carrie and Brody on the run next week, tipped off by Saul?

HazeltheMcWitch · 16/12/2012 22:00

Maybe Quinn will stage it so that Saint Saul of Snacks shows up chez Brody with his man bag... then Brody mysteriously takes his own life?

HazeltheMcWitch · 16/12/2012 22:03

Love is... killing a Veep.

difficultpickle · 16/12/2012 22:03

Brody won't give up even though Nazir is dead.

So Quinn is the hitman? Saul better hurry up with his snacks!

HazeltheMcWitch · 16/12/2012 22:04

Well, if Quinn does intend to kill Brody, he had better do it in the bloody light. I can't face anymore squinting.

Or maybe I need to adjust my tv a bit?

inmymind · 16/12/2012 22:13
Shock

I really want Quinn to be in next season, I will happily sacrifice Brody for him

gypsyfloss · 16/12/2012 22:13

Haha St Saul of the Snacks...death by baguette Grin

I'm not convinced that Brody does love her. After all she's the only one who knows what really happened to the Veep. So... Perhaps he will try to bump her off and Quinn will step in to save her? I think Brody still has his sights on greater things and he hasn't renounced the cause yet.

difficultpickle · 16/12/2012 22:15

I wonder what will happen in next week's episode? It has to be something with Estes surely? Do we know if Mandy has signed up for another series? I can't imagine Homeland without Saul.

gypsyfloss · 16/12/2012 22:21

Perhaps it will end with an almighty explosion and leave us wondering who out of Estes, Saul, Quinn, Carrie , Brody etc al have died/survived?
Was Nazir's only plan to take out the homecoming troops ? I find that hard to believe. And Roya's anger hints at a unfinished job.

Hassled · 16/12/2012 22:25

I think Quinn is secretly a goodie - he questioned whether it should be he, not Carrie, who interrogated Roya, he didn't dismiss Carrie when she was saying Nazir must have had help to escape. I think Quinn is going to Do The Right Thing (whatever that may be).

And blimey - what an episode. The Nazir-hunt in the mill was amazing.

difficultpickle · 16/12/2012 22:25

Here is some wild speculation for possible outcomes in next week's episode.

HazeltheMcWitch · 16/12/2012 22:30

Oh, (from bisjo 's link) - if they do but it was all just a bad electroshocked dream I will be jolly angry.

Hassled · 16/12/2012 22:31

Oh top link - thank you. I especially like "poor Chris, who is going to ask him to leave the room now?" :o.

Estes will get his comeuppance, I'm almost sure of it. Quinn will grass him up - and Adul/Salieri will somehow become less of a bearded enigma and more of a key player.

mamaus · 16/12/2012 22:36

Saint Saul of Snacks, like it!

Wow, feeling very confused after that one, now what? Estes is sure turning out to be a real piece of work. How is Saul going to get out of this mess?
Roya sure turned the tables on Carrie, did she say stupid whore?!!

Nazir being killed feels almost anti-climactic? Next week is going to be a doozy!
I like Quinn though, I feel like he is starting to feel a bit sympathetic to Carrie--not enough to not try to kill Brody, but still.

TheDoctrineOfSnatch · 16/12/2012 22:38

Idiot whore, I think it was.

difficultpickle · 16/12/2012 22:38

Brody apparently has a 7 year contract.

TheDoctrineOfSnatch · 16/12/2012 22:40

I think Quinn is thinking Carrie and/or Saul is going to be able to pin him for Brodie's death - he respects their spy skills, I think.

gypsyfloss · 16/12/2012 22:41

Excellent link. I'm going for the mother all explosions at Langley/ White House. Ending with no clear idea of who is dead or alive. Except perhaps Saul who was at home at the time and he can arrive at the scene of devastation clutching his hat and his man bag, wearing his world weary pained look that's been so prevalent of late.

I'd quite like Quinn to survive cos he is definitely the hottest of the lot. The rest I'm not so fussed about.

HazeltheMcWitch · 16/12/2012 22:54

I'd quite like Quinn to survive cos he is definitely the hottest of the lot.
Take it that you didn't see Estes on Sunday Brunch then, gypsy ?!

gypsyfloss · 16/12/2012 23:05

No...what did I miss? I find his ears a bit disconcerting tbh. But then I also feel that way about Quinn's bum fluff tache, Saul's beard and Brody's hair Grin
