I am beside myself with excitement. here - who's putting the contacts in? Is that Carrie in a disguise? Any one else agog?

OP posts:
diddl · 12/11/2012 06:54

When Roya & Brody met & she told him that the CIA had gone into the tailor´s & did he know about it?

Do you think that was just a general query or she suspects him?

How long before Roya feeds him false info & he outs himself?

nameuschangeus · 12/11/2012 06:58

I do wonder if the guy who works with Virgil is a bit dodgy. It's always him who seems to lose the sound.

PseudoBadger · 12/11/2012 07:08

I think Roya met there because she knew the sound would be no good for anyone listening.

I'm confused by why Dana telling what's-his-face that the woman they hit died overnight. Wasn't she alive (but very ill) when she left? Did I miss a day/night?

Arithmeticulous · 12/11/2012 07:59

Blimey Shock

cocolepew · 12/11/2012 08:08

The CIA had bern watching the tailors shop for weeks, Quinn said so. He was angry when Brody told them he was dead because they wasted time watching ut when they could have went in.

I was thinking the same thing about Virgils partner.

gypsyfloss · 12/11/2012 08:09

I am so very confused now. Why didn't the baddies get that box out earlier? Why was the shop open at all? Was that Virgil's sidekick loitering in the corridor when Brody was speaking to Roya? Is she suspicious of Brody's motives? What did Mike get told by Estes?
How come Carrie who was drummed out of the CIA is now let loose to seemingly do whatever she wants and what was the distraught sobbing in Brody's office about?
I have an essay to write but obviously this is much more important :)

Fiderer · 12/11/2012 08:15

diddl I thought Roya seemed a bit off with Brody, mentioning the shop had been watched (for 2 weeks?) and they'd only just decided to go in. Which we know is because he told the CIA that Bassel was dead.

The shooting was Shock I was wondering if Galvez was the mole, mainly because he's the other regular CIA actor Grin - and I do not think Saul or Estes is. But if he were shot/killed, he can't be. Unless whatever they took away was worth sacrificing the mole for.

The Dana/Finn story is going to cause trouble - she's bound to tell. A great series, I like the slower bits too.

diddl · 12/11/2012 08:31

I don´t think it was Virgil´s sidekick/brother(?) as they would have known as they were watching.

Also, wasn´t the loiterer in a suit?

Fiderer · 12/11/2012 08:34

He was in a suit. And taller. With darker hair. Also, yes, he's part of the surveillance team so would know about the "eyes".

Anyone know his name? I like how he said he knew Carrie was right about Brody but no one listens to him.

Fiderer · 12/11/2012 08:35

Which I've just realised is because he's quiet and in the background Grin Mole?

mynameis · 12/11/2012 09:18

gypsyfloss I want all those questions answered and also how Dana knew what the women looked like that they had run over? Is that the only hospital?

Top bugbear is Carrie actually reemployed? She has access to an awful lot of classified info for someone who was kicked out

Still enjoying it though

Nancy66 · 12/11/2012 09:22

there's a bullet with your name on it Mike.....

bananaistheanswer · 12/11/2012 09:28

You'd think he'd have spotted the etching on the bullets he took from Brody's gun Grin

northender · 12/11/2012 09:45

Enjoying it but way more questions than answers.
Agree re Dana's bootsGrin

bananaistheanswer · 12/11/2012 09:56

I think someone will kill off/destroy his family in the end, leaving him with no life and nothing to lose. Then he'll become the go-to double/triple agent guy to sort out all the bad guys, a bit like Jack Bauer (sp?). Mike will be killed with Jessica with them both in a compromising position, Dana will get done over by the VP's son/body guards, and the boy (whose name escapes me) will be kidnapped by the baddies and converted to Islam as well. He'll be brought back in series 4 to be Brody's nemesis to kill those who killed his family and then brody will realise why he was wrong to think that way too, and try and talk his son out of revenge. Or something like that Grin

donnie · 12/11/2012 11:57

No no no! you are barking up the wrong tree with the whole gun/Mike saga; iirr Brody shot Tom Walker with Walker's own gun. Unless I have invented that in my own mind Confused

I think that when Brody and Roya had the conversation there was something encrypted in the language he used - there was a coded message in what he said to her but nobody was able to percieve it except her. He knew he was being recorded. The guy standing nearby with the phone was a red herring IMO.

Lots of annoying issues ATM like - is Carrie actually in the employ of the CIA or not? and Jessica with her strange neck gets more and more irritating each episode...but the main characters Brody/Carrie/Saul/Estes couldn't be any better!

donnie · 12/11/2012 12:00

Also the spoilt senator's son Finn - I don't really believe that someone as smart and savvy as Dana would go for a rich boy jerk-off like him Grin. Or maybe I just see myself of years ago in her!

shoeprincess2 · 12/11/2012 12:46

Grin Donnie- I thought it was just me being distracted by Jessica's neck/ head. Your post made me laugh, as I am getting increasingly annoyed by it and it's not as if anything can be done about it! It reminds me a bit of Alias does this programme. Double agents and triple agents. Sheesh. Confusing Confused

gypsyfloss · 12/11/2012 13:53

...and why doesn't Brody have Nazir's men tailing him? He's such a high profile asset to them.

I loved the first series so much but this one just seems a bit disjointed now and I am getting tired of Carrie's crumply crying face. I like it better when she's doing her head to one side, genius style thinking face. And Quinn just looks so sinister.

difficultpickle · 12/11/2012 13:54

Carrie has been rehired but off the books. They have an office but it isn't in the CIA headquarters is it? I think only certain people know that Carrie is rehired. Quinn gives all the orders to everyone, not her so only Estes, Saul, Quinn, Virgil know she is involved.

Arithmeticulous · 12/11/2012 14:03

There was a bit in the Tailor's shop when Quinn said "who are you?" to a new guy - and it was all Star Trek-like: you knew something bad was going to happen to the new guy on the away team you've never seen before he was beamed down to the planet on the team.

But I guess that means Galves/Quinn are not moles? Unless Quinn's gasp was because he was wearing a vest and will live to see another day?

VivaLeBeaver · 12/11/2012 14:07

There is a mole though isn't there? Wasn't a mole mentioned in teh 1st series?

bananaistheanswer · 12/11/2012 14:12

Unless Quinn's gasp was because he was wearing a vest and will live to see another day?

That's what I thought when I watched it again. He looked more like he'd burst one of those fake blood capsules in his mouth and played dead.

diddl · 12/11/2012 14:49

"...and why doesn't Brody have Nazir's men tailing him? "

Maybe he does.

Was the red(?) car confirmed as CIA?

VivaLeBeaver · 12/11/2012 14:52

I'm sure Quinn will survive.
