I am beside myself with excitement. here - who's putting the contacts in? Is that Carrie in a disguise? Any one else agog?

Love the series, but have only seen this one. I am going to treat myself to series one on DVD. I can't wait.

I must say though, Brody and Jessica have not talent for interior design, do they? Their house is horrible; all sludgy brown/beige colours and I think Brody's office is even worse. If I remember correctly, he had orange/gold curtains and green walls. Someone needs to have a word, really.

homebythesea · 12/11/2012 15:44

The thing that bothered me about last night's episode was when Brody went to their secret ops room. Surely they must think that Brody may be being watched by the baddies so why would they reveal their location. And they didn't check him for recording devices etc . Honestly I would run a waaay tighter ship Grin

And how lucky that Dana wandered into the right ward in the right hospital and saw the right patient.....

But a really good shocking twist in the tail and the tantalising prospect of Mr Rupert being still alive and prrof positive there MUST be a mole....

nameuschangeus · 12/11/2012 15:55

Jessica does indeed have a very long neck, exacerbated by her new(ish) elfin hair do. I am also always distracted by her mwaa mwaa lip profile.

I am spending too much thought on this programme Blush

Nancy66 · 12/11/2012 16:12

I've just watched the next episode....i won't reveal any spoilers but it's a good one albeit a bit more 'gentle' than the previous couple

diddl · 12/11/2012 17:18

I´m watching it now-can´t wait until SundayBlush

VivaLeBeaver · 12/11/2012 17:43

Where are you all getting to watch it early!

PandaNot · 12/11/2012 17:44

Well I still think Saul is the mole. I think it was him, back in season one, that gave that prisoner the razor blade that he used to kill himself.

Chopstheduck · 12/11/2012 17:47

I only recently got into this, watched the whole of the first series last week and now up to date!

I lurve Jessica's hair. If i was gay, I would fancy her! Grin

Not buying Saul as a mole though. Surely it was brody that passed the blade, as he demonstrated he could pass the test when he denied shagging around. Plus he got physical, which would have been the perfect chance.

Did anyone see Brody on Have I got News for You? Looked and sounded so different!

Nancy66 · 12/11/2012 17:50

I have a log in for ITV/Channel 4 preview site so I'm watching it there but I expect you can probably download it somewhere online as they're a couple of episodes ahead in US

Chopstheduck · 12/11/2012 17:53

it's only one week ahead in America.

diddl · 12/11/2012 18:02

Oh wow-that was good-& the trailer for 8 looks good as well!

Hassled · 12/11/2012 18:48

It occurred to me at work (I was clearly really focussed on the task in hand) that at no point has Brodie volunteered the information that he raided Estes' safe and took whatever it was he took (was it a list of names?). Even when he told Carrie that he didn't know what the Big Plan Against America was, he didn't say "but by the way, they do have this list of names what I stole".

Good point Hassled. Wish I could wait to watch it on box set all in one go as the waiting is killing me Grin

gypsyfloss · 12/11/2012 19:00

Good point Hassled. I'm not sure Brody would know a truth if it bit him on the arse.

I don't want to wait either ...

cornycatona · 12/11/2012 20:52

Brodie's wife was making jam sandwiches for Dana's breakfast. Slattern

TheDoctrineOfSnatch · 12/11/2012 21:04

Just caught up have been carefully scrolling past this thread!

I think Tom W was killed by his own gun.

Why hadn't Quinn asked where the tailor is buried?

gypsyfloss · 12/11/2012 21:18

Just watching it again. I wonder if it is a nuclear warhead in the box?

PseudoBadger · 12/11/2012 22:54

Why didn't Brody have to explain to Roya etc what happened to the tailor? I also think Walker was killed with his own gun.

TheDoctrineOfSnatch · 12/11/2012 23:08

Why didn't they check the replastered wall? Haven't they watched any decent TV crime in the last couple of years Grin?

PseudoBadger · 12/11/2012 23:09

Poor Quinn was just about to check it when he was shot!

TheDoctrineOfSnatch · 12/11/2012 23:11

I know but if only he'd've kept up to date with European TV, he'd have thought of it earlier!

Wingedharpy · 13/11/2012 01:43

"I do wonder if the guy who works with Virgil is a bit dodgy. It's always him who seems to lose the sound. "

I think that's because he is responsible for sound whereas Virgil seems to be in charge of visuals.

Wingedharpy · 13/11/2012 01:46

"I'm not if Abu Nasir is Hezbollah or al Qaeda anymore."

As far as I know (and let's face it, what do any of us know at this point?) Abu Nazir is still head of Al Qaeda in Iraq.

Fiderer · 13/11/2012 08:01

Al-Qaeda, with Abu Nazir as one of their leaders, seems to be collaborating with Hezbollah. Either the makers of Homeland don't see this as rather implausible (Sunni/Shia with no real evidence of any collaboration) or they see it as an entirely plausible and scary scenario. Lots of baddies. Also the Israeli strikes on Iran bring in Hezbollah.

Roya told Brody that they'd "cleared up" in Gettysburg. Did she mean they'd removed Bassel's body? Or taken anything incriminating from the shop, apart from the Big Dangerous Box?

As for the mole, why didn't the person who gave Roya who gave Brody the code Grin for Estes' office not steal the target list themselves? Engineering a meeting and the distraction from Roya would have been equally easy.

I suppose on hearing that Brody had a meeting scheduled with Estes it seemed the quickest and easiest way to get the information. No one would suspect Brody and he would have to prove his commitment and so become more deeply involved.

I still regret watching S1 over a weekend. All the speculating is much more fun Grin

PseudoBadger · 13/11/2012 08:25

Wasn't Hezbollah just 'planted' by Carrie to see what Roya said/did? The man/hit squad might not be Hezbollah at all.
