As for Brendan - no, he can look after orphaned kittens while wrapping them up in cotton wool and feeding them some formula milk and I'll still won't like him.

James is so very, very boring.

Why do people fancy him? Do people actually fancy him or it it a case of 'oh he wears glasses and ugly jumpers, he's so . . . . . like . . . . quirky'.

No, I don't like James because I think he's 'quirky'. He's cute. He cooks. Enough said.

He wears nice sweaters...... No he does seem a nice bloke I'll give you that lady

I can see why people like James in an aw-how-sweet-and-he-makes-cakes-too way but no to fancying.

I'm following GBBO on facebook too and there's lots of 'Paul Hollywood can put his buns in MY oven oooer' type comments. I don't get it, personally.

For me it's just about the baking.

I like James's accent.

He does have a nice accent but it's more neutral-Scotland-posh than anything else. Not that there's anything wrong with that of course!

The native accent from that part of the world is very musical, if you can imagine a cross between 'typical' Scottish and Scandinavian with emphasis on the Scandinavian you'll have it about right.

By that part of the world of course I mean the Shetlands.
