I am cross with the commentators and crowd. The crowd never get behind a player till it's too damn late anyway, or unless it is a great favourite.

Commentators have been so biased, if this had been a Rafa V Roger match all they would have wittered on about was how brilliant Roger has been through his career, how wonderful it would be for him to win.

Today, it's like anyone whose British has forgotten just what an amazing player Roger has been. And I think that's disrespectful, and unfair. Roger has a hell of a lot riding on this match too - to be called the greatest player ever is such an accolade to live up to, as well as surpassing Sampras's record.

Such a shame we put so many fantastic sportsmen up on a pedestal, only to wait for the day when they can be knocked down.

Agree MrsV. And I do wish people would stop cheering unforced errors, it's just rude.

To change the subject, though, how wonderful is it to see serving & volleying at a Wimbledon final again.

MrsVamos - I was just about to post: Mr Federererer I know you're one of the greatest - if not the greatest - tennis players ever, and I could you watch play all day as your tennis is just so beautiful, but do us a favour and just not be quite as good.
