The West Wing, should I?

I love American telly - love Mad Men, Good Wife, CSI, NCIS, Criminal Minds etc.
My brother just lent me the box set of season 1-7 of the West Wing.
I don't know anyone whose watched this although am obviously aware of it's critical acclaim.

Anyone?

Love the west Wing. I started watching late night on c4 when it first started. Then after me and dh got married I made him watch too. He ended up addicted too

Go on you know you want to. I promise you won't regret it.

You'll find you end up having West Wing marathons... My DH and I were very 'shall we watch one more?' before we knew it we'd watched 7 episodes in one day!

Yes, yes, yes - we have all the box sets, have watched them all through at least 5 or 6 times and probably need to download versions now as the DVDs are a bit tired. Absolutely brilliantly written - I don't know of any other show I would ever have been prepared to watch over and over again. Great cast, genuinely sad when it finished. Do it now!

I adore the West Wing. CJ is my girl crush, and I will love Josh for all of time even in the god awful Studio 60.

Just a warning re Series 1. Probably best just to pretend Mandy doesn't exist. Because she is as annoying as she seems. Just concentrate on Josh's dimples while she's talking and you'll get through it.
