Did anyone see that coming with Jenny? And do we think Peter is going to get back together with Leanne soon?

He is indeed, I'd forgotten about Roy. Ken is decent on the whole too, albeit with a weakness for the opposite sex from time to time. Marcus and Sean are decent too. But decent and available? I suppose Jason is available again now. Then there's Kirk.

fragglerocker · 19/03/2012 19:29

whenskiesaregrey my brother had the exact same jacket about 15 years ago Grin

chocolateshoes · 19/03/2012 19:31

eeeeeek am getting very excited!!!!!!

KenDoddsDadsDog · 19/03/2012 19:48

It must have been Ann

chocolateshoes · 19/03/2012 19:51

surely Ann.....no Jenny at the funeral

WalkingOnLego · 19/03/2012 19:56

Don't go in Sally she's a murderer

chocolateshoes · 19/03/2012 19:58

ta dah!!!!

KenDoddsDadsDog · 19/03/2012 20:00

We were right ladies! The Jenny thing is odd.

5inthebed · 19/03/2012 20:05

Yey! I got it right for once

BeyondTheLimitsOfAcceptability · 19/03/2012 21:07

Yay! Agree, very odd that Jenny has just disappeared?! Surely she'd go to the funeral at least...?

BrightnessFalls · 19/03/2012 21:42

It was abit of a let down in the end, wasnt it?

The home schooling is going to get on my wick.

LeeCoakley · 19/03/2012 22:02

Just watched it on catch-up. I bet Ann thought she killed him but Jenny came in afterwards and actually did the deed. If not - very boring.

And agree - the home-school thing is annoying.

CantSleepWontSleep · 19/03/2012 22:32

Whoknows - you've forgotten Tommy in your consideration of available men!

I wish they hadn't written graeme out - he was great and added some much needed humour.

LineRunner · 19/03/2012 22:34

Oh dear God, what utter bollocks.

All of it.

PuffPants · 19/03/2012 22:48

I thought Gwen played her part well, she was very hammy in earlier episodes but proved her worth tonight.

What happened to Jenny? She just vanished!

KenDoddsDadsDog · 20/03/2012 07:03

There isn't really a good storyline to follow now.
The Dev/Sunita/Carl thing is stupid.
Home schooling irritating.
Audrey/Lewis done before and a bit desperate.

WalkingOnLego · 20/03/2012 07:11

What happened in the second episode? I fell asleep Blush

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 20/03/2012 09:22

Can'tsleep - I ruled Tommy out as being decent because he messed Tina about with Amber, but he does seem to have turned good, so yes, he checks in as OK.

I still can't decide whether Lewis is genuinely reformed or still up to something.

whatkungfuthat · 20/03/2012 10:21

I suppose its all going to switch to Leanne/Peter/Carla now. Who gets the factory?

OP posts:
Silverthorns · 20/03/2012 10:24

Bah, am quite disappointed. Lame storyline, I just don't see her motivation at all.

Tommy is lush. As is Nigel Havers Grin

Housemum · 20/03/2012 12:29

Wish I'd thought about betting on it now! (I am so naive, I didn't even know you could bet on made-up stuff like this until I saw the story saying that betting was suspended!!) I'm not often right, so enjoying a moment...

Storylines - Tina & Tommy - really irritating, just get on with it
Lewis & Audrey - looks like it will have to go horribly wrong again, if not it is just deadly dull
Brian & Julie - too far down the caricature route, possibly could pull around (hated Becky when she first started as too 2-dimensional).
The home-schooling line is OK as David/Gail showed her she wouldn't really be able to do it so presume Max will be back at school soon
Carl & Sunita - can't work out the dynamics there, Sunita is trying to be nice to him or is there more to it? Really didn't have Sunita down as playing away (though anyone married to Dev would surely have an automatic right to)
Eileen/fireman/Leslie - really tricky storyline, makes you think, but he is just a bit creepy. Either there is some lying/con trick coming or he is just badly cast in this part - I can't believe him as the man who loves/loved his wife, but has "lost" her in some respect, and is falling in love with someone else.

Liked the humour coming back in last night eg Steve eyeing up the girls going to the funeral, "I love my job"

chipstick10 · 20/03/2012 15:56

I dont like the eileen storyline the guy she is in love with is just plain creepy. I cant take to the actress playing Sunita as a straight actress i just see her as the dippy one in Dinnerladies.
I cant tolerate Sean or Marcus, both are tragic actors especially cotton who i simply cant stand
Up until thiese last three weeks i hadnt watched it for nearly two years and now the frank storyline is over i might have to leave it be.

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 20/03/2012 15:59

No, I love Eileen, and this could be a good storyline, but Paul is creepy and comes across as insincere. I don't like Sean and Marcus either. I like Sunita but she never gets a decent storyline. I'm always threatening to give up watching but I never do, although I suspect if I didn't have Sky+ I would have ditched out a long time ago.

Clawdy · 20/03/2012 16:32

That silly story line about Carl taking £50 from the till...exactly the same amount taken from the restaurant till and wrongly blamed on Lewis!just a couple of weeks ago! And did anyone else start giggling when Ann produced the knife?! it looked ridiculous....Grin

ILoveMortenHarket · 21/03/2012 12:18

I have just caught up. Why didn't Kevin just call the police instead of creeping in like that.

It was a too easy story line in the end really.

And Jenny just disappeared. Weird.
