Have started new thread, will be watching last night episode today and will report back.

Have just watched episode and thought it was good, you could feel the realisation that human nature as we know it was almost non existent after shooting the walkers and killing the one that suddenly came alive, and the scene in the bar at the end was very true to life I thought, the mistrust of newcomers

I watched the episode last night. Loved it - Rick shocked me at the end but I dont think he made the wrong decision?

I think it was melty on the old thread who said it was a bit slow in the beginning (agreed) but I am looking forward to next weeks episode!

no no have I missed it? I thought it strated on the 20th?

stealth first episode last night but it's on again tomorrow evening as well.

It was on last night stealth, I have just had a little look for you though and it is repeated on fx at 9pm tomorrow night. And on monday at 10.10pm!

No don't think she is no that's mean isn't it, but at least we got to meet some other characters even if it was brief,

I was hyperventilating.

Very good. Ending surprised me, but I felt uneasy as soon as they turned up -I don't know why. Bloody good bit of acting from them all I think, nothing was said, but you could 'tell' they were wrong'uns.

Lori pissed me off (again). I get that she wants her husband safe - but a mother just wouldnt leave her son that soon after he'd seen his friend killed...if she really thought there was a chance Rick was in danger she'd want to stay with her boy. It's the 'hiding under the car' all over again

Saw adverts for the next episode and, alas, Lori is not dead. Here's hoping she becomes walker fodder very soon.

Just watching now - first chance I get with no DH or DC around.

She seems to make it, annoyingly.

Liked it, sort of eased me back in, not too much adrenalin for a first episode.

Where will they go now though?

v good episode I thought. I'm mighty annoyed that no-one told Shane that if he was so desperate to protect the group he could have gone up in the barn through the window and shot the walkers one by one sniper-style instead of opening the doors without knowing how many zombies were actually inside. It would have saved the group some ammo as well.

I take it Beth is now infected?

LOVED Darryll calling Lori Olive Oyl. She looked a bit offended- at last a man immune to her 'charm'!

Is it wrong that I was hoping she's stuck in her car and the zombie she ran over is slowly crawling over and about to eat her?

Most hateful character is now Andrea. I get she wanted a gun but she now out-Shaning Shane.

And yes, Andrea is annoying. Wouldn't you walk rather than sit on the back of that truck?

Beth is the half sister who went to hug her 'dead' mother and got attacked.
She then collapsed of 'shock' and is now running a fever.

I'm amazed none of the Eggheads (I could see the farm idiots not realising) mentioned that the fever is what happened to guy-who-got-bit-at-the-camp-and-left-behind-by-side-of-the-road.
They know that's how zombification begins and Beth has been in rather close contact with zombie hasn't she?

I thought the same about Beth she got pretty close to the zombie, could of got scratched.

Beth turning would really make Herschel rethink about the 'virus' I should think.

Could you get infected from a scratch rather than a bite? Probably I think.

I was wondering if Lori would lose the baby in the car crash but the trailer still mentioned the baby so probably not.

I'm thinking an island would be a plan, big enough to grow some crops, near enough to the mainland to go back and forth with a boat for other supplies.
Would be populated with a few walkers but I think you could 'clear' it and then know no more would make it there.

Recorded and watched on Sunday. Thought it was good and didn't see the shooting coming - but agreed probably right decision, and that the distrust is quite probably realistic.
