Anyone else going to be watching?

At least this little one will have a good chance of adoption. His background wont help but his age and apparent good health will.

oliverreed · 06/02/2012 21:56

I feel so sorry for this social worker - this is one case of 14 serious cases she has to work with - they don't pay social workers in this field anywhere near enough.

hellhasnofury · 06/02/2012 21:56

Is that Marva out on the streets now?

MollieO · 06/02/2012 21:57

I was being ironic. Having said that she doesn't seem that bothered.

But how long until she's pregnant with number 5???
Of course protecting the children is paramount, but the frustration of not bring able to break the cycle is soul destroying.
So so sad. Sad

tralalala · 06/02/2012 21:58

far better now to be removed than in 3 years when he is damaged and unwanted by many potential adopters

ObviouslyOblivious · 06/02/2012 21:58

Gosh he's a beautiful baby

OhDoAdmitMrsDeVere · 06/02/2012 21:58

That baby looks just like my DS when he came to us. Cept DS was thinner. I am feeling a bit Sad now.

Its bringing back all that conflict and pain and how bloody difficult it all was.

CoolRunnings · 06/02/2012 21:59

I hope the baby has a nice life. Poor lamb.

ledkr · 06/02/2012 21:59

I was very new a optomistic, was convinced i would be able to sort her out with my amazing powers, did loads with her, tried everything,it was horrible, she adored the baby she really did but the drink and the man were such a strong pull and soothed her far more than a baby.
Im in adoption now,see the other end of things,

He looked like his mum Sad

Best decision IMO
Not suprised they got back together. I bet they hatched a plan to try and keep te baby by pretending to split

ObviouslyOblivious · 06/02/2012 21:59

Oh god that final sentence has finished me off :(
All the best little boy Thanks

SuePurblybilt · 06/02/2012 21:59

Ooohhhhh godddddd I feel for every one of them. So damaged they cling to each other but there is only hope when they are apart.

GeekLove · 06/02/2012 22:00

Was there a scheme where drug addicts and people who have had children removed from them to have contraceptive implants or sterilisation in exchange for financial incentives?

mummytowillow · 06/02/2012 22:01

How sad, he has so much control over her, she will be back with him, and pregnant within months Sad

I think the SW and FC are wonderful people, doing a very hard job.

At least the little boy has the chance of a lovely life.

OhDoAdmitMrsDeVere · 06/02/2012 22:01

I was being genuine mollie not asking in a scandalized sort of way. I was interested to know if you really thought that. People do, I have had it said to me.

Glad you dont though Smile

I do think she was bothered but when you have lived a crap life full of disappointments and rejections you dont always appear to care.

RitaMorgan · 06/02/2012 22:01

Of course she moved back in with Shaun - where else could she go?

MollieO · 06/02/2012 22:01

What did he say?
