Having a dog seems v common with the families I work with. They often go out & get one in the middle of chaos. :(

Caused by the mother drinking whilst pregnant.

I feel sorry for the parents. They are inadequate as parents and completely out of their depth in this whole process.

I feel desperately sad for that little boy though.

Heartbreaking. I cant see that they will improve, they dont even look like they want to. Poor boy deserves better. God only knows whats going on when the cameras stop filming. The fact that he isnt talking yet and he is quite aggressive speaks volumes (bearing in mind all the other stuff)

They are just so totally detached from their son's behaviour. Like it has nothing to do with them and they can do nothing about it.

It doesnt mean I think they should be able to keep the children but I do feel for them. They havent a clue.

So now some poor foster carer has to pick up the pieces.

Poor Toby his parents care more for the dog. I want to look after him.

No interaction with their son even with the film crew there.

Why haven't they got him a full time nursery place, SALT input? Surely there are things they ca do while they wait for a court date?
