The lovely family from Bradford (Donna and Fabian) who took on 3 of her sister's kids and we were all so happy when they got a bigger council house after being all cramped in a tiny one... they are now in the Daily Heil in one of their typical articles about a large family on benefits being given a big house.

It's horrible. That poor family - if anyone deserved a bigger house, they did. And most of the commenters haven't read the details in the article (ie that Fabian had been working for 20 yrs and was only out of work for a few months) and are making horrible comments about how she should have been sterilized and that they look like scum etc. It makes me very and for them. Just goes to show how that horrible paper doesn't care about the poor people it throws for its frothing readership to tear apart. And also that the content of the article doesn't matter to them - it's all about the headline and accompanying photo.

I hope Fabian finds more work soon. They are doing a grand job of looking after the children, but I worry for them if Fabian can't find work before the benefit cap takes effect.
