Rehoused, thank goodness!

Grockle · 24/01/2012 21:58

Hopefully the kids will calm down a bit.

thementalist · 24/01/2012 22:00

So pleased they got a new house!

susiedaisy · 24/01/2012 22:00

I think Fabian is doing so well really got the kids best interests at heart

WetAugust · 24/01/2012 22:01

Interesting contrast

The poorer family focusing on their children's future success

The richer family focusing on very the superficial

BrightnessFalls · 24/01/2012 22:04

Im so pleased theyve got a new house Smile. I hope they get some help furnishing it. What a lovely family.

The girls seemed nice enough though. I wouldve liked to know if the older ones where out working or if they were at college. I hope pagents arent what they want to do for a living.

awomenscorned · 24/01/2012 22:08

Hats off to the family of 10 who took the mums 3 children in. So good that got a bigger house, much needed. Smile

I really did not like the other family. Just horrible.

NonnoMum · 24/01/2012 22:24

Please be a bit kind to the Bournemouth family. Six months of filming and then heavy editing wouldn't necessarily show up our best sides, either...

Maybe all the other hours of filming showed the girls (and there v handsome brother) passing exams, going to college, working for a charity... but the editors want to find an angle, don't they?

lisad123 · 24/01/2012 22:30

All those girls in bournemouth have terrible teeth! why?? That dad is clearly out numbered and has no say :(

Chloe is a sweetheart, Fabian is very sweet and trying his best, as is Donna. If they took those 3 kids on as kinship carers I can tell you ss would have offered nothing Angry

lisad123 · 24/01/2012 22:30

NonnoMum are you her?

NonnoMum · 24/01/2012 22:36

No, Lisa ! But the DH in Bournemouth did look a bit like mine! But just feel a bit sorry for these families who agree to all the filming and then get pulled to pieces on internet forums...

(PS apologies THEIR v handsome brother, not there - v poor)

Wasn't there a poster on here last week with a v large family who declined to be filmed? Probably the best decision she ever made... apart from having loads and loads of lovely babies (jealous, moi?)

perceptionreality · 24/01/2012 22:45

Donna and Fabian seem like really lovely people.

The other family were not very likeable. That mum is awful 'May the best child win'. Poor children :(

floralsanddresses · 25/01/2012 03:18

Just signing in as I can't sleep and I've just watched episode 1 and 2.

These mothers and fathers deserve medals. All of them. They are fabulous.

I'm still watching episode 2 but Donna and Fabian are making me love them right now.

shouldnotbehere · 25/01/2012 10:01

I didn't agree with the family with the beauty pageants, I think it's focusing too much on looks, and unhealthy.

bringbacksideburns · 25/01/2012 10:07

Thought Fabian was a great dad. Enthusiastic and loving - he seemed to get real pleasure from being with his kids.

elvisaintdead · 25/01/2012 10:11

I thought the Mum with all the girls was living her life through her children. Ifelt for the poor girl (Chantelle was it?) When they were all shouting at the face of London comp, must have been offputting! I personally don't like to much being put into apperance.

The other family seemed really up against it but came across as very genuine. I would love them to have arranged a sitter for all the kids fo a day so the couple could have gone for a nice pampering day out together and a long lazy lunch, bless them.

We have 5 DC and sometimes the sibling fallouts can be relentless so I take my hat off to them with so many.

shouldnotbehere · 25/01/2012 10:18

Yes, I really liked the poorer family.

4madboys · 25/01/2012 13:04

another one that really like the poorer family, SOOO pleased they were getting that big house and yes fabian seem very keen for them to get a good education and do well in life, they really had the kids best interests at heart, they were good, hope the do well in their new home :)

the family with 12girls, umm well i am not a fan of beauty pageants etc, really didnt like all the focus on appearance, i am sure there is more to their life than just looks but thats not how it was shown.
