I still need to talk about it.

OP posts:
ScatterChasse · 12/11/2011 17:27

They've made a of the theme tune!

It's called 'Did I Make the Most of Loving You?'

Bossybritches22 · 12/11/2011 17:40

Aha thanks Scatter-I THOUGHT I heard it the other day bit missed the name & singer. I've always thought it a haunting tune & the bit of the song I heard was lovely.

diddl · 12/11/2011 17:58

I think it´s much better as just music tbh.

So, what will everyone watch tomorrow?

Georgimama · 12/11/2011 19:44

Garrett's Law or whatever it is called starts again 9pm on BBC1. V good.

NorfolkNChance · 12/11/2011 19:51

Oh Garrow's Law, love that show

Georgimama · 12/11/2011 19:56

that's the bugger. Couldn't remember. Have a bit of a thing about lead I have to say (and the lead female tbh).

puzzlesum · 12/11/2011 22:36

I cannot imagine why Lord 6 would think it was okay for Sybil to skip off to Ireland to get married on her own - nip her down Ripon Registry Office, surely? God only knows what she sees in Pickle, who appears to have to spent the whole of the last 5 years being a pain in the arse in the garage. I feel sorry for the poor actor: "so, let me guess. In the dark, the garage, being angry and wearing a pair of leather gloves? What's my motivation in this scene?"

Mary should have married the dastardly Sir Rotter years ago, not least so there would be a twist in the will-they-no-they-clearly-won't story with Matthew.

DrCoconut · 13/11/2011 00:01

SoupDragon. Your new guilty pleasure can be Garrow's Law. It will be mine. There is a lot to be said for ogling Andrew Buchan in Mr Darcey esque outfits learning about the history of our legal system.

CheerfulYank · 13/11/2011 01:55

What's Garrow's Law?! I wonder if it can be watched Stateside?

CheerfulYank · 13/11/2011 01:56

I see the main character is engaged to Slutmaid #1. That's lovely. I will watch it then. :o

Moln · 13/11/2011 04:11

cannot sleep

no da tonight

the trauma

Moln · 13/11/2011 04:18

ok seriouly i can't sleep, but i om't really think it's due to the lack of da.

Do you think canadian guy might came back into it? There's been no reportings of filming here in ireland, which do suggest sybil not being over here.

Like the idea of pickle being killed by the british and that making it all awkward of sybil, she'll then have a new situation* to throw herself into

*i know the wod isn't situation but i just can't think of the right one at the moment, but she's done women's lib, nursing and pickling. So she'll need something in seies 3

CheerfulYank · 13/11/2011 04:42

That something will be shagging Pickle and generally being happy and living a lovely life in Ireland and I'll not hear otherwise!

Fiderer · 13/11/2011 06:55

*cause?
Sorry Cheerful but Sybil has to come back and Branson wouldn't leave Ireland at that time, if ever. And Sybil was so eager to escape DA that only something Bad would bring her back.
What's her personal happiness compared to our viewing enjoyment, heh?

Plus I never thought there was much sizzle between Sybil & Branson. Once he's orf, she can have a swoonsome love affair with a real man who adores her and lives happily ever after.
That should cheer you up a bit.

CheerfulYank · 13/11/2011 07:09

But then they will have won and everyone must marry Their Own Kind.

Fiderer · 13/11/2011 07:14

She could fall in love with the bootboy?
Or a handsome new gardener. Never saw a gardener at DA. They must have loads with all those grounds. Perhaps the younger ones went off to war and the work was done by the gnarled old chap and his cousin with a limp.

Then after the war, a shell-shocked handsome ex-soldier is taken under gnarled chap's wing and with Sybil's help and gnarled chap's tuition, helps the DA gardens to flourish and flower again and shell-shocked comes out his shell and love blossoms.

That do ya?

CheerfulYank · 13/11/2011 07:35

No.

I really don't think Picks is so gawdawful narcissistic, and I think Syb really does love him, and I think he adores her, and I want them to be together.

Fiderer · 13/11/2011 07:57

For you then, Cheerful. Sybil and Branson live happily ever after.

CheerfulYank · 13/11/2011 08:01

I KNEW IT!

:o

Bossybritches22 · 13/11/2011 09:35

....................and lots of little Pickle will run around the grounds when they visit grandpapa & grandmama!!!

LadyHarrietDeSpook · 13/11/2011 09:37

deleted scenes from this series

LadyHarrietDeSpook · 13/11/2011 09:40

The scenes really make me SURE that JF was flying by the seat of it.

Bossybritches22 · 13/11/2011 09:41

PICKLES

LadyHarrietDeSpook · 13/11/2011 09:46

And some of them should have been included in some form.

Fiderer · 13/11/2011 10:01

The Lavinia and Mary exchange about Richard Carlisle was great!

Not entirely sure Lavinia didn't let it slip on purpose. She may have been brooding on what a rotter he was (the documents thing he involved her in) and how "clean" he'd become but she can't surely have forgotten he's engaged to Mary.
