Oh no. Just channel hopping and realised lovely Gareth Malone is doing his 'choir' thing again-and I have missed the first half. I didn't even know it was on.

came on here to say how i pre-ordred this at the weekend, for my mum. but also saw the choir on the one show, and had to leave the room to blub. and then, just reading the end of this thread an actual member of the choir is posting wow. love the song and blub every time i hear it. it is beauuuutiful

I watched the last episode on my SkyPlus today. You know when you are trying not to cry and can't breathe? That was me!

Kudos to the Choir, my DH has done 3 Afghan tours but he isn't on the ground. Everytime Minimise comes on, I wonder if a friend will be getting 'The Knock'.

ha ha only on MN. I checked out the cardigan link but didn't know why and then watched the One Show and saw the video and realised why the cardigan was linked

I loved being in a choir at school. I love watching Gareth conducting and mouthing the words and all the encouraging looks to the choir etc.

I heard the song on BBC local radio the other day (not the recorded version but the live Royal Albert Hall version) and then a few hours later in the car started singing it and thought "hmm I think this will be come a Christmas standard" much like Aitch said above.

Because I'm a R2 addict, I have CE on as I put on the kettle at 6.30.

I now recognise the Miliwives song from the first few notes, & my DD's now shout "It's That Song again" if I'm out of the room.

Ginger - I know how you feel - in 2009 hubbies buddy was killed by an IED whilst on patrol in a vehicle - I remember the feeling - op minimise for a while then finally heard from hubby - was so happy he was ok -then remember thinking how this young mans family must be feeling! he was only 23..... but this is what we need to do this all for - to raise money to help the RBL to help families like this... am I depressing you all? Sorry x

That's what this campaign is all about & we need to keep reminding ourselves/others that although this is a MASSIVE achievement on the miliwives part, and we salute you for it, it is to help people like your DH's chums family that it is the focus for the single.

Usually (not that I've ever watched daytime telly you understand) they tell you at half ten when everything's on bossy.

They perform at 12:25 I think - I'll check when they go on

11:15 for a little interview for 15 then and then 12:25 to sing x

I really don't like this programme. I may have to Sky+. Ooh 11.15 then!

They had better do a good interview. No stupid questions.

I usually switch over when TM comes on tbh but am pleased I read this thread and will be watching..I love the song very much and it gives me the goosebumps/teary eyed at the setiment of the song.. Chris Evans has been playing it a lot on his breakfast show recently and cue me getting into work with smeared mascara.

Nerve-wracking being interviewed anyway but about such an emotive & important subject must be hard

Not a fan of the show either, although I like Holly & Phil on other things but it will reach a wide audience & be available on ITV player so good exposure!

RIGHT off to do some ironing, will set up in front of telly but watch something else till 12.15
