I'm sure DD's school wouldn't do this. And I'm glad - she'd probably be in that kitchen having a chat and jam whenever she could.

It must affect those (role model) children who the teacher's deliberately sitting the disruptive ones next to.
It doesn't seem fair on them. But I don't know what the answer is.

Have just started watching and I'm appalled. James wants to learn but apparently it's his problem he is picked on. Am I missing something here?

I suppose it is the editing but I'm not impressed by the standard of teaching.

I wouldn't have agreed to my DCs taking part in this programme.

I haven't been impressed with the standard of teaching (understatement) or the HT (too casual) but then it might have been edited this way.

I have turned over, the whole TV show should never have been commissioned.

The teacher was brave to agree to do this. I can't see how she can come out of this looking good.

Listening to James breaks my heart. I spend chunks of my annual leave to attend school stuff.

she was very bright
they said she enjoyed it and got a lot out of it. We were sceptical as she would never have moaned to the teacher about it. she did to us though.
I'mnot sure it held her back. She did very well in yr 6 sats,level 5s.

She enjoyed senior school more becasue of the streaming.

Luna it is Year 4. So the children are turning 9 during the course of the year. I notice that the children seem very immature compared to my DD's year 4 class though.

The classroom environment does seem very uninspiring. I'd be bored in that class and boredom leads to arising about.
