but it might also be normal for it to be in the possession of car enthusiasts or companies that use a lot of cars/vans.....

Hello all - I too have been checking out Ether - the reason they developed better anaesthetic knock-outs is that Ether makes you puke on waking: Hmmmmm did Troels have a sicky suit? Which Gimp Mortenn sorted (hahohee thanks teej for his new name)? Think this may be a red herring, though.....

Walked past a huge group of Danish teenagers in town today. Felt quite excited and walked deliberately slowly to see if I could understand what they were saying. Sadly not. And even sadder - not a Troels or Bengt-lookalike among them.

y'know i did think shagaround was greasy but thanks to five and wigwam, if i picture him in my head now he is literally dripping chip fat all round him and it makes me feel very queasy.

still, could come in useful as a mental tool for my forthcoming diet...

wigwam i honestly think it is the creepy one.
at first it was just process of elimination, once i had decided the political stuff was relevant to nanna but completely not related to her murder. but the more i think about it the more it makes sense and the more clues seem to fall into place...

i'm wondering though - was it confirmed that holck did go straight to the airport?

he may still be in the frame for an attack on nanna if not...

He didn't leave until half an hour after her, and then was at the airport, I think, though him attacking her at the flat in rage would be nice and neat, just leaving the murderer to move in.

Going with the Vagn theory, he could have been waiting for his chance with Nana - do we know if they often left her alone for a weekend?

oh five - pale sausagy lips has just changed dinner plans for this evening - sausages are out and chicken casserole it is, then!

re vagn - i think he had a thing about her but pushed it away due to his links with the family.

as she grows older, his impulses become harder to ignore. then he hears about her being found in the hotel room and thinks - that's not on, she's mine. the need to possess goes up a notch.

then he finds out she is with Amir and realises they are planning to run away. that really annoys him because "his" nanna is being touched by someone else and to him that someone else is just a "paki" (he has been seen to be racist before). in addition, that "paki" is trying to possess "his" nanna by talking her away.

not only does the desire to possess her become overwhelming, he realises he has to act now. her parents are not around to protect her, which is handy for him. perhaps their immediate presence may have stayed his hand.

but for vagn the opportunity has presented itself and if he is going to do this, the time is now.

what i'm unsure about is whether nanna played into his hands. was he following her in which case she had no chance, or did she call him and ask him for a lift from the flat? if she alerted him to her whereabouts, she gave him exactly the opportunity he needed.

Wouldn't Vagn have solved his troubles more easily by killing Amir, if that is the case (can't speak for psychopaths, mind you!)

Just to play devil's advocate.....
Perhaps he called Leon, and got him to follow them (perhaps Vagn was working, unless he always chooses red for leisure wear), perhaps Vagn is consumed by guilt because he put Leon on her trail, and is about to realise this happened before with another girl they moved?

five if his purpose was just to get rid of amir yes, but if we assume he is a serial killer then what drives him is how he feels about the girl, that they are his secret and no-one else's. when he has decided he has to possess nanna and no-one else can have her, that genie is out of the bottle in terms of his mental attitude. then his pattern of assault/clean/kill/hide is all that matters to satisfy him.

re: leon, i could be wrong but i am pretty sure they checked out his taxi receipts for the evening which proved he was busy all night, so unless there is a contradictory piece of evidence then he has an alibi...
