I love that. "it's taking ages" bit. I sooooo felt like that.

Narketta · 14/02/2011 21:18

She's doing so well bless her, i'm filling up already,

thefirstMrsDeVere · 14/02/2011 21:18

No I never bloody wanted to look either!

cfc · 14/02/2011 21:18

What an amazing birth!

Normantebbit · 14/02/2011 21:19

They are much better than my midwives too. We don't know the whole story with any of them.

EricNorthmansMistress · 14/02/2011 21:19

It's a boy...it's not a boy! Grin

I was like that. Asked the MW twice cos I didn't believe he was a boy!

tilde · 14/02/2011 21:19

Why have they wrapped up the baby? And is it also wearing a hat?

thefirstMrsDeVere · 14/02/2011 21:19

He looks quite big doesnt he?

babybear5 · 14/02/2011 21:19

i gave birth at home kneeling with all mine..gravity is wonderful

lalabaloo · 14/02/2011 21:19

driving was that at me? I don't think I said anything bad but can't see who else did?

juneybean · 14/02/2011 21:19

Were were they telling her to keep quiet as well?!

OP posts:
Normantebbit · 14/02/2011 21:20

Oh he's lovely 'i'm so proud of you.'

babybear5 · 14/02/2011 21:20

How sweet is that...and yes we do drink a lot of tea Grin

EricNorthmansMistress · 14/02/2011 21:20

Honestly - the MWs aren't actually drinking tea while the women need them, it's editing Hmm

PaulaYatesbiggestfan · 14/02/2011 21:20

Brilliant birth but rubbish midwifery imo she should have been in water or kneeling

tralalala · 14/02/2011 21:20

beautiful baby

NancyDrewHadaClue · 14/02/2011 21:20

I'm crying already...

In my defence only 17 days until my induction - I blame the hormones.

ImFab · 14/02/2011 21:20

Mine had to wear a hat for a few days and then I decided I would take it off since no one had said anything about it.

PaulaYatesbiggestfan · 14/02/2011 21:21

surprising - this lady is all crunched up on her back again

MerryMarigold · 14/02/2011 21:21

Have we now got 40 mins on this other girl?

cocoachannel · 14/02/2011 21:21

And the tears start...

EricNorthmansMistress · 14/02/2011 21:21

Screaming while pushing makes you push less hard. I don't see why people think it's Hmm to advise women not to scream while they are pushing. Seems obvious to me.

drivingmisscrazy · 14/02/2011 21:21

lalabaloo no, I wished you luck! I just think I should go away if I'm causing offence, even if unintentionally. Taking up too much space on this thread and nothing to do with the programme!

thefirstMrsDeVere · 14/02/2011 21:21

I cant watch anymore. Its all too much

giraffesisonadiet · 14/02/2011 21:21

loved the random what part of scotland are you from? thrown in. "edinburgh. so you are 8 cm..."
