lalabaloo · 14/02/2011 21:10

Hobnobs I know she might just be trying to be friendly but couldn't she say "It says here blah blah blah..." I would feel nervous, that's all

tralalala · 14/02/2011 21:10

oh I wish he had been my birth partner (sorry dh...)

thefirstMrsDeVere · 14/02/2011 21:10

Poor thing. She is panicking poor love. Please calm down, it will help. bless her.

tilde · 14/02/2011 21:10

Woop woop, OBEM!

I can only watch this now that DS is upstairs sleeping in his cot, rather than in my tummy Grin.

Normantebbit · 14/02/2011 21:11

DP is reading the Twitter feed on this and sniggering to himself Hmm

GetOrfMoiLand · 14/02/2011 21:11

I agree - why was she just left there on her bloody own. Midwives in the tea room again.

driving - whay does it matter with young mums? Do you hve something against yoing mothers, seems so from your posts.

PaulaYatesbiggestfan · 14/02/2011 21:11

tralalala · 14/02/2011 21:12

Oh I lost the plot evertime in transition!

msrisotto · 14/02/2011 21:12

And ends the section with a cleavage shot Hmm

PaulaYatesbiggestfan · 14/02/2011 21:12

'lose the plot' anyone else find that insulting????

hobnobsaremyfavourite · 14/02/2011 21:12

If the midwives are anything like my mate who generally can work a 12 hour shift without a break they are trying to care for 3 labouring women simultaneously.

isthismadness · 14/02/2011 21:13

Gosh she hasn't even had gas and air till now
I sooooooo remember that panic

drivingmisscrazy · 14/02/2011 21:14

GetOrf not at all - it was just an observation - that the age group on here might not be altogether representative (ave age of first baby is about 27, isn't it?). Good for them I say, there's lots to be said for it. Really didn't mean to give that impression at all Blush - to be fair I didn't actually say anything remotely judgmental...think you are misreading me slightly!

GetOrfMoiLand · 14/02/2011 21:14

I don't think midwives are coming across at all well in these programmes to be honest.

lalabaloo · 14/02/2011 21:14

hobnobs Not criticising midwives in general, made one comment about one thing that one midwife said on TV. Not going to argue, too busy watching Grin

MerryMarigold · 14/02/2011 21:14

I wish we knew how dilated the girl with the black hair is. They're talking about transition, but this is the first I've seen of gas and air!

babybear5 · 14/02/2011 21:14

I keep having to refresh page so miss the chat on here and keep having to rewind telly Sad

NancyDrewHadaClue · 14/02/2011 21:14

I hope she's ready to push....

lalabaloo · 14/02/2011 21:15

driving glad you aren't judging, i'm 20 and TTC number 1 :)

MerryMarigold · 14/02/2011 21:15

I think the midwives are coming across quite well, a lot better than mine was anyway.
