Seen this now and yes I snorted when Melissa slid over [heartless bitch emoticon] and when she had gained weight. [double heartless bitch]
It wasn't made clear why some didn't take part in that skating. But maybe the green lady wasn't allowed to fall.
I really am not there for that lighting of the Olympic
torch and all that cheering American style stuff. We have been in the states for the last two olympics and it just reminded me of what it was like! 
DD is going skiing to Colorado in half term and I am so envious!
This was then filmed before the Vancouver Olympics which were last winter, a year ago, what I mean is, it is
filmed over a long period. When they get to the finale
they will have been doing this for a long time. The UK
one was clearly filmed last summer, so maybe there
is a big gap between what we've seen to date, and
then maybe the finale is filmed close to it's showing
date? Then they will all be much Slinkier.
I still think it's a shame they feel badly about losing 4lbs. If I lost that I would feel fabulous!
So who do we want to win in the US version?!
I like the grey boys because they seem so earnest and their mum would be proud.
The yellow man has the nicest, light up the room smile.

Love the orange man's hair. If he cut it, he'd weigh a stone less.
Orange lady is a bit meh. A sort of non competitor.
The green lady had to compete with stitches in ffs.
The yellow girl nearly killed herself on that skating task. And I love the fact her actual name is Sunshine. 
the Diddy pinks remind me of those Weeble toys. But so sweet. Aaaahhh.
The White man is simply mahoosive so really should
stay in!
Red man - I no likey his beard.
