Anyone watching? Kitchin guy is really scary - feel very tense watching!

Lightly pickled - what does that mean?

MaMoTTaT · 01/11/2010 21:14

dunno - but the blokey liked it - he wouldn't leave any for his soux chef Grin

Mistymoo · 01/11/2010 21:15

OK it's not cooked.

She is doing very well.

drivingmisscrazy · 01/11/2010 21:15

in my household it means 'slightly pissed' - she's so good - I want to eat everything she cooks (and I'm quite picky)

Mistymoo · 01/11/2010 21:17

lol drivingmisscrazy

madamimadam · 01/11/2010 21:19

I know, MaMoTTaT!

And wasn't he lovely to them all. Hope Tom Kitchin is watching this and taking notes. Wonder what San Pellegrino have to say about him...

And are those hula hoops?

muggglewump · 01/11/2010 21:19

I cant stand Michel Roux Jnr.
He's clearly so far up his own arse, and never eats, the skinny painful twat.

No wonder his eyes are popping out, it's food, you know, that stuff you don't touch Michel.

I think he is a knobby knobber.

I also think he doesnl't eat.

MaMoTTaT · 01/11/2010 21:21

ash??????

drivingmisscrazy · 01/11/2010 21:21

it's a bit all that: think I'd rather have hula hoops: celeriac puree aka cat chuck-up...

MaMoTTaT · 01/11/2010 21:22

haha I love the way he said "phew" then - kind of an admission of "yes we all screw up sometimes"

nelliesmum · 01/11/2010 21:22

Doesn't ash give you cancer?

drivingmisscrazy · 01/11/2010 21:24

could just flick some from my fag over the top: might try that at home Wink I do like to adapt these things for the home kitchen

MaMoTTaT · 01/11/2010 21:25

oh he's so lovely, all nice and non shouty

madamimadam · 01/11/2010 21:26

I bet those are crab sticks...

Sorry, 'ocean' sticks.

nelliesmum · 01/11/2010 21:26

Does anyone take this place seriously...this isn't cooking it's floristry.

MollieO · 01/11/2010 21:26

So are they cooking for chefs rather than paying customers?

nelliesmum · 01/11/2010 21:27

Is there a good chip shop next door, they could do a roaring trade?

madamimadam · 01/11/2010 21:28

Oh but it's beautiful, isn't it nelliesmum? Wish my plates looked like that.

MaMoTTaT · 01/11/2010 21:28

no some customers as well I think - regulars

MollieO · 01/11/2010 21:29

I've eaten in Copenhagen. It's all a bit 'would you like some raw fish with your pickled fish or the other way round?' I'm very surprised it is the best restaurant in the world at the moment.

Guacamole · 01/11/2010 21:29

Ooohhhhh I like this chef, he's being so nice to them... I tried to google but their website gone mental, how many Michelins does he have in order to be 'the best chef in the world'?

drivingmisscrazy · 01/11/2010 21:29

and seemingly no women are stupid enough to be parted from their cash

nelliesmum · 01/11/2010 21:30

How much does thi stuff cost?

madamimadam · 01/11/2010 21:30

Isn't he good with them too? Just so charming and encouraging.

Can't wait to see Greg and his big spoon with that delicate flower dish...

nelliesmum · 01/11/2010 21:31

To be fair, it is beautiful...but my dd had mashed potatoes and gravy tonight and that in its own way was as beautiful....
