5ft 7 - tall for boy of 14?

My boyfriend’s got loads of siblings I nieces /nephews - I’m the opposite extreme - only grandchild !! I’m just amazed how much his 14yr old nephew towers over me - is this tall for 14 yr old boy? He seems to have show up loads since Xmas!

My son is 5'10 and only 11!! Had a massive growth spurt since the first lockdown. My daughter is 14 and 5'8, she seems to have slowed down now, which she's pleased about!

My 14yo is a couple of inches taller and average. He has a friend who is 6 foot 6!

My 14 year old is 6 foot exactly. He has 14 year old friends ranging from about 5ft to 6ft 5.

My gran nephew is 6’4 at 14. He towers over most of his peers😁

It’s not particularly tall. About 75th centile If just on 14 and 50th centile if nearer to 15

well my ds is 14 and 4ft6. Somebody needs to be the smallest...

Mines 14 and 6ft 2. Cost's me a fortune..... size 13 shoes, adult clothes and bikes. I don't worry was looking at his trajectory as a baby they did say he'd likley be at least 6ft 6.
It's bloody annoying though when he says awwww aren't you little mum

Probably average. All my boys were taller than me by the time they left Primary school, and 2 of them were 6"+ by 14. Their friends varied hugely at that age, from less than 5' to over 6'.

Mine is 5’8” and almost visibly growing daily.

My 11 year old DD is 5"5! Not unusual at all. My gran was 5"9 at 13, then stopped growing.

Teenage son needing to make friends… plays football but has no interaction with them outside of the match. Has one friend in school but that friend just ignores his calls, any ideas on how he can meet people. [

I think my ds was about that height at 14. He's now nearly 18 and 6ft 1 and stopped growing. His dad is 6ft 4 but I am 5ft 2 so he was unlikely to get taller than his dad.

My daughter is just about to turn 14 and 5ft8.

My 13 year old DS is 6’3 abs growing like a weed. It’s quite extraordinary how he keeps getting taller but not wider, he’s like a pipe cleaner!

DS was this height at 11. Still only 5'8" now, don't think he'll grow much more.

All of his friends have seemed to have a big growth spurt anytime between 11 and 16. One of his friends didn't have his growth spurt/voice breaking until he'd finished Y11, much to the hilarity of his friends. Boys can be cruel.

And as a related question, when do boys stop growing. My DS is 18 and still growing although has slowed down in the last year or so. He is 5'10" and has probably gained an inch in the last year. Both my dds were totally done by 13, and neither is taller than 5'2"

my 12 year old is not far behind me and I'm 5"8!

The average height for uk men is 5 ft 9.
So 5'7'' is completely normal.

My ds is 12 and 5ft 9. I think he's pretty tall for his age.

DS 14 is 6ft and still growing- taller than his older brother and dad. I actually think 5 ft 7 is quite small.

Boys are 21 before they stop.
