Hope you're feeling brighter now Lost. I always find the day after the day after is still a challenge but better by the evening. I have no intention or desire to do anything tomorrow as last Sunday's horrors are still fresh in my mind but Mr 'Bad influence' is already texting to see what I'm up to. DS will be out doing his own thing and I'll be bored but I have a busy day on Sat and can't face all that again so will have to turn off my phone and lock myself in a cupboard whilst clenching my balls! Confused

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 02/03/2017 18:18

Well at least you have something planned for Friday, Hooch Confused Grin

HoochiMama · 02/03/2017 18:23

Yes can't wait! Might check in from the cupboard to see how you're all doing. Good luck ladies x

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 02/03/2017 18:28

I have a weird vision of you smashing out of the cupboard with an axe like Jack Nicholson in The Shining Shock

I might have to join you in the cupboard Hooch. At the moment my intentions are very good but that can all change like the wind in the world of Lost.

serialtester · 02/03/2017 18:51

Alcohol weakens my resolve. Tomorrow will be my test. Friday, friends, booze etc...

OP posts:
serialtester · 02/03/2017 18:53

I'll be juggling a lot of balls tomorrow!

OP posts:
ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 02/03/2017 18:57

You're practically a tri athlete, serial I have every faith you can juggle on your surfboard. You can do this. Remember it's all in the planning and the staying connected to the balls and not getting too pissed

serialtester · 02/03/2017 19:12

If booze, fags and coke were actual sports I'd win a triathlon.

OP posts:
ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 02/03/2017 19:25

The event could be sponsored by Benson and Hedges and snowball's fwb. I'll man the drinks station and host a triathlon after party to celebrate your win.

GotToGetMyFingerOut · 02/03/2017 19:44

Snow are you okay?

I was away last night with dh. Had a nice night we were both asleep for half eleven. Was so good actually just getting tipsy/drunk then going to sleep like a "normal" person. Woke up at a normal time feeling fresh and energised.

Now being tempted by tomorrow night. Our friends home from working abroad past three months and she wants to party. Think I'm going to just not partake or drink at all. Can't trust myself. I'm greedy. I never want the night to end as then normal life has to resume and so I want to stay up and keep going as long as I can in our happy carefree coked up bubble forgetting the consequences I will face after for it. If I drink that greed will come out and I will be sniffing lines faster than you can say Henry Hoover

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 02/03/2017 19:58

Gosh that sounds like a party with a capital P, Got.
I don't think I could be restrained in that environment. You definitely need a plan and balls of steel for tomorrow.

Well done for being a normal person last night though Grin

ZiggertyZaggerty · 02/03/2017 20:07

Lost and Hooch can I please join you in the cupboard to clutch my balls??
Lost I totally know what you mean about alcohol being a massive trigger. A few glasses of wine down me and I get the coke butterflies (is it just me??) hence why I'm trying to do a dry March (one day down - but there's a beautiful Pinot glistening in dew eyeing me up every time I open the fridge Confused)
Keep clinging on ladies x
Snow - hope you're okay x

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 02/03/2017 20:17

Mmm, glistening Pinot and coke butterflies sounds like beautiful poetry.

Yes, join us in the cupboard, Zig. I'm aiming for a semi dry month too ..so far, so good.

Snowball426 · 02/03/2017 20:18

I'm doing good everyone. We had a night away and there was no wifi.

Please to say I haven't touched a thing, although I've been a right argumentative sod!

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 02/03/2017 20:20

I wasn't gulping wine by the way, just gulping in an anxious way!

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 02/03/2017 20:21

Snowball That's bloody amazing. The irritability does subside, hang in there.

HoochiMama · 02/03/2017 20:23

Hilarious Lost and love your version of a Triathlon Serial!
*
Got* - I get exactly what you're saying, I never want the party to stop and love that feeling, damn real life for getting in the way Angry

Zig, I don't know how you can contemplate Dry March with a bottle of vino winking at you from the fridge. Hide it! And the more the merrier in the cupboard Grin

serialtester · 02/03/2017 20:25

Snow - WELL BLOODY DONE!!!!!

Got - you've perfectly described my behaviours, never wanting the night to end etc...

OP posts:
HoochiMama · 02/03/2017 20:25

Oops got my bolds round the wrong way!

Snowball426 · 02/03/2017 20:25

I keep loosing track of time too, feels like Its been weeks! not days.

serialtester · 02/03/2017 20:26

Am practising the fag bit of my triathlon!

OP posts:
HoochiMama · 02/03/2017 20:26

Well done Snow xx

serialtester · 02/03/2017 20:32

I feel a bit emosh about Snow's news! More emosh than about my 8 weeks tomorrow! I know how hard fought that first bit is.

OP posts:
serialtester · 02/03/2017 20:36

Think it's 8 weeks - last time was Jan 6th?

OP posts:
Snowball426 · 02/03/2017 20:43

Serial that's amazing!!!!!!

I honestly thought I'd give in on the first night just because it's too easy for me to get it.

But now I'm not sure what my goal is?

I just knew the amount I was taking every day was getting pointless. Couldn't feel it most of the time. It was a habit like getting a biscuit from the cupboard, until they were all gone!!
