Have just spent past 15 minutes displaying all physical signs of a really bad tummy bug. Feel like it might be a long night (on water!!) Jesus Christ, my tummy hurts!

Am trying lying down and sleeping. Sorry for being sick on the surfboard. This is horrible!!

Well I had a bit of a struggle last night I wanted it but I knew i wouldn't be getting it or taking it. Had a glass of wine and two coronas and had a good wee night without it so that's last Saturday and last night Iv shown myself I can have a few drinks without it. Feels like I'm almost rewiring my brain.

My dh is away to the next city today and my sister is round tonight so m

my night shouldn't be too hard hopefully as she very, very rarely dabbles.

Afternoon all, well I messed up again last night. Bored of this now. Have managed to haul myself up to Manchester today though with my eldest to visit a very good friend. Have just told her what's been going on and she is being amazing!! Has said I can come to see her every weekend for the next few weeks, to get myself away from this crap!

Am going to lurk on the thread for the next few days, but I will be here in spirit willing you all on.

Don't give up Flat - it's just a blip. Your friend sounds amazing and speaking to someone in real life is bound to help. I can't imagine speaking to anyone I know about this.

Confiding in your friend must have really helped. It makes it all the more real and scary when you voice it all, but also like a weight has been lifted?

There's such a stigma around drugs too. A drink problem or eating disorder or something is almost more "acceptable" if you see what I mean so it becomes like a terrible secret. I'm so pleased your friend is willing to be there for you. and please can I come? I want her as my friend -
