For me it has to be polonecks- although swan like of neck, a sagging jawline and large bosoms make me look ridiculous.

Anything wider than it is long, underwear and bikini excluded.

anything short

I have ridiculous legs...long, skinny, saggy of knee and varicosed

yuk

HarlotOTara · 31/05/2010 09:25

Hate my arms so sleeveless anything is out - have a lot of shrugs

whoingodsnameami · 31/05/2010 09:30

Cant do strapless tops/dresses due to big boobs, polo necks would be out even if I had small ones cus they make me feel suffocated.

Meglet · 31/05/2010 09:30

skirts / dresses as I'm too hairy. Waxing only makes them presentable for a couple of days.

whoingodsnameami · 31/05/2010 09:30

Oh and I cant do anything above the knees, as it appears my knees are on the wrong legs

IPredictADiet · 31/05/2010 09:31

shorts, due to huge arse, thunder thighs and horrid knees.
shortish dresses are just about ok, but only with leggings and ideally boots for sufficient camouflage

I am not a summer person.

MarshaBrady · 31/05/2010 09:33

Anything that requires 'cleavage' and dainty sandals.

cocolepew · 31/05/2010 09:34

Anything over the knee, fat knees and cellulite [what a catch]

castille · 31/05/2010 09:38

Clingy v-necks for the same lack of cleavage as jajas.

Things with waist ties as I have no waist to speak of.

In a previous life I was a teenage boy.

Ronaldinhio · 31/05/2010 09:40

polo necks
spagetti straps
strapless

big norks

maltesers · 31/05/2010 09:40

No bra. . .just couldnt do it. . . .breasts 36c but older mum and breast fed all 3 children so boobs down lower. . . A bra is really vital. . .
Sorry but couldnt think of anything i couldnt wear, so this is something i HAVE to wear.

SambuccaKelly · 31/05/2010 09:45

Anything that clings to my stomach

Short skirts - too old and look muttonous.

High necked tops + large tits make you look like you have a huge, heaving shelf of a bosom. No.

nancydrewrocks · 31/05/2010 09:48

jaja I have a friend with small boobs (A cup) and she looks fab in plunging neckline. Very Kate Moss esque. I on the other hand look like a wannabe porn star if I reveal to much of my DD's.

Alouiseg · 31/05/2010 09:53

Anything which leaves a midriff gap.

EvilTwins · 31/05/2010 09:55

Shift dresses. They stick in all the wrong places. I would love to be able to wear them for work and look effortlessly stylish like a number of my collagues.

Pavlov · 31/05/2010 09:57

short skirts. While being skinny, I have short legs and short skirts make me look dumpy. Currently anything showing midriff due to untoned belly after baby, that will change soon hopefully.

DontCallMeBaby · 31/05/2010 09:59

Big boobs so: strapless, strappy, polo necks, plain crew neck t-shirts (will wear a design tho), anything with an underbust seam that doesn't come from Bravissimo, too-short tops that mean more fabric over the bosom than below it.

That's the worst of it, but also have fat thighs, questionable knees, good but chunky calves and (remarkably) quite good ankles. So nothing short ... fat little feet as well, so no dainty strappy sandals.

Lauriefairycake · 31/05/2010 10:04

Things I'm not supposed to wear as I'm short, fat and with 36J norks:

strapless
poloneck
spaghetti straps
stuff without arms
anything above the knee
cropped trousers
maxi anything
trousers that are too wide
black (look dead)

This leaves about 3 garments in the universe. V-neck dresses on the knee, bootcut trousers, v-neck 3/4 sleeve tops.

I spend a fuck of a lot of money on accessories

Raahh · 31/05/2010 10:04

Maxi dresses- due to being 4ft 8!

deaddei · 31/05/2010 10:14

I don't do maxi either Raahh as I'm 6 feet- just look like I'm gliding on wheels.
Love Lauriefairycake's comments especially the (look dead)

Anything backless or anything with some sort of centre motif on the front. I have a curved spine so the motif always ends up "moving" to one side and then looks odd.

thislittlesisterlola · 31/05/2010 10:32

shift dresses- norks too big, hip bones stick out- looks awful. Crew neck anything. Polo necks. Cowl(sp) neck with my norks and all that fabric- disaster. Wide leg cropped trousers-skinny ankles. Swimsuits i dont like my upper thighs. Oh dear! Anyone else with large norkage- where do you buy your v neck knitwear? I need a deep v and struggle to find nice jumpers. however as currently pg anything that doesnt attract attention to the ' i swallowed a beach ball look' is a winner

ameliameerkat · 31/05/2010 10:45

Anything that I can't wear a bra with (big norks). Polo necks/high necks (norks again) Can't show my legs at all (bad varicose veins, at age 30 ).

thislittlesisterlola - loads of places have v-neck jumpers (although maybe slightly less at the moment as it's 'summer' ). I saw some in H&M the other day I think. When the shops get their autumn stock in then anywhere that sells work wear will have them again.
